We don't post our diary entries here.
Best ones:
>Nether Gundam
>Tequila Gundam
>Nobusshi
>Busshi
>Fuunsaiki
>Wing and Seed got 2D fight game but not G Gundam
Why
Battle Assault 2 had a G Gundam route.
There was also a SNES G Gundam fighting game before the Wing fighting game.
95% of Battle Assault's playable units are UC. On the US release they only put Wing Gundam on the cover and in the roster (reskin copy of Zeta Gundam) because Wing was the only official exposure of Gundam to the NA market at the time and they were sure it'd help potential buyers better recognize it as a part of Gundam.
Kind of interesting that Battle Master 2, the game Battle Assault was made from, had all UC units except for the original Psycho Gundam Mark 3 and Wing G-Unit Hydra Gundam. I wish someone had done a fantranslation of the Battle Master games, since I love the idea of OC pilots in classic MS, instead of regurgitating the anime story again and again.

TOURIST
No, it's stupid but there's a beauty to that stupidity. It's like you asked a 7 year old to design a gundam based on a foreign culture and yet none of them are outright mocked except for Windmill Gundam
or devolve into full on parody or the fact that they look this way is even brought up. It's played completely seriously. Every fighter wants to be a serious competitor or if they don't they have their own compelling reasons why not. It's a level of sincerity that is sorely lacking in our post-modern, irony laced world.
It's stupid but it's taken seriously and there's beauty in that.
My top 5 G Gundams
>1. John Bull/Neo England
>2. Tequila Gundam/Neo Mexico
>3. Kowloon Gundam/Neo Hong Kong
>4. Gundam Heaven's Sword/4 Kings
>5. Bolt Gundam/Neo Russia
My home country's Maxter would be #8, behind Devil and Master.
Very nice.
>1. Master Gundam/Neo Hong Kong
>2. Tequila Gundam/Neo Mexico
>3. God Gundam/Neo Japan
>4. Nether Gundam/Neo Holland
>5. Gundam Heaven’s Sword/4 Kings
>6. Nobel Gundam/Neo Sweden
>7. Gundam Rose/Neo France
>8. Pharaoh Gundam XIII/Neo Egypt (shame it got basically zero screentime)
>9. Gundam Spiegel/Neo Germany
>10. Gundam Magnat/Neo Poland (again, dogshit screentime)
For me, it's:
>Shuffle Joker
>Minaret Gundam
>Spiegel Gundam
>Pharaoh Gundam
>Maxter Gundam
What a handsome Gundam.
>kino and soulful

Post the bull
G Gundam got such an extensive toyline when it was brought to America. They made so many one off Gundams into action figures. But skipped cool stuff like Tequila and the Shuffle Alliance.
I don't remember ever seeing any of the g line in stores but the wing figures were everywhere.
G line was pushed the summer before it aired and was around for like a whole year. The issue is that the first wave had all of the main Gundams and came out before the show even aired while the later waves were full of Hyper Modes and one off suits. They couldn't sell them. I remember seeing tons of Mandala and Matador clogging shelves with Hyper Modes.
This one is so goofy I might buy it
>Tfw bought action figures of Noble, Skull, Bolt, Dragon, Shining, Burning, Rose, back in the early 2000s when Gundam was roaring throughout the US
>Moved to another state
>Parents threw all of them away but a few like Rose and Skull because they thought I kept “breaking them” whenever I mixed and matched their parts on one another
Why did you have to remind me of this pain, anon?
The 08th MS Team toys were pretty cool. I liked how you could hide things in their little backpacks.
Battle scarred was a great line, nearly had/have all of them.
>G Gundam and Wing Gundam designs look like they came straight from fricking Sonic the Hedgehog
>This is literally Shadow the Hedgehog the Gundam
And it’s fricking awesome
More like Shadow the Hedgehog is the Epyon of the Sonic franchise. Gundam wing came out 6 years before Sonic Adventure 2.
So are germans just all weebs in the G Gundam timeline? Not sure why the german gundam wasn’t tank based or some kraut magic abomination.
>Not sure why the german gundam wasn’t tank based or some kraut magic abomination.
Because the pilot isn't actually German.
But the Spiegel Gundam was still made by neo Germany, right?
Pilot is actually a German ninja altered by Kyoji to have his appearance and memories.
