Release the good looking kits first and then I will.

now the armored core rejects on the other hand...
this homie hates GMs, gun him down
Ah yes, rape centaur base jabber
>>30mm reject
which is in itself Frame Arms rejects
it's like how much further from the source can we get?
Now I'm sad I don't have space for plamo
They are selling figurises of the heroines so you can enable the yuri while also enabling your crippling plastic addiction
They're diversifying the spectrum of plastic dollies to include actual dolls.
Figures of the heroines are nothing new.
Right out the gate though?
Pretty sure every heroine since Build Try has had some merch close to launch of course this is different since is the first female MC Gundam and nowadays even a series like Back Arrow got figuarts at launch.
Damn I love a lot of these designs, but I'm broke.
I didn't realize Back Arrow got any FigureArts releases.
Also got Robot Spirits releases.
To this day it still shock me just how much Fumina stuff Bandai is still pumping out.
Build Try is like a not even a quarter of the total time Gundam has been around - I would say that relatively that's pretty recent.
Lalah is a woman that could have been in a cum jar to me
I would but the one I want is backordered until January minimum unless I want to pay scalpers.
from what I can tell, they are selling very good due to the series being much more popular with normies than previous shows.
this
I love this thing, if I get one kit from G-Witch it's gonna be this one. Who's the designer for it?
i don't know but i also want it....and will kill for it...
one of the kyoukai senki guys
Not yet confirmed but most probably Wataru Inada, the same guy who designed Pharact
Correct, each major manufacturer got their own mechanical designer. Pharact and Zowort are both Peil, so same designer.
There's something that feels very Nagano-ish about this design, I love it.
I find the design very throne-esque though. Does Pharact and Throne series have the same mech designer?
No. I think this is Inata's first Gundam work. Throne was Washio right?
Thrones were Washio, who also did Barbatos and some other IBO Gundam designs.
He also designed the Fafners.
I believe it's the guy that designed most of the 4th gen armored cores
I thought AC was Kawamori, I know at least White Glint was
Kawamori was a guest designer in AC4A, he only did the White Glint
I love this thing an unreasonable amount. Long legs plus squashed, chunky upper body is A++.
Say, is Bullpup a recent thing in Gundam?
A lot of Gundam guns get inspiration from real life stuff but I haven't seen anything since 00. Is this a recent thing or did something show up earlier?
No
Okay I will. Thank you Bandai
99% of the catalog has been on permanent backorder for years. Frick of shill
Way ahead of you. My HG Aerial's shipping out today and I already pre-ordered the Lfrith Ur and Michaelis.
Haha! WhiteRose in space go brrrr.

Sunrise staff admit the school setting is purely for new audience attraction. Comments are kinda cringy (way too many people defend IBO).
>new audience attraction
That's like every non-UC Gundam ever though
Yeah but it actually seems to be working this time. People I never thought would be following a new gundam series are. Granted I think it's less the school setting that got them and more Suletta and Miorine.
They've literally said this about every AU since Seed. Everything is supposed to be an entry for new viewers that establishes a new universe that can run alongside UC. It never does, and they go back to UC.
They don't even have faith in Ad-Stella cause they're dumping Thunderbolt, Hathaway, and Gundam NT TV cuts right inbetween the cours.
>They don't even have faith in Ad-Stella cause they're dumping Thunderbolt, Hathaway, and Gundam NT TV cuts right inbetween the cours.
I think it's a combination of production planning and faith in Ad Stella that caused the decision to have TV edits of those shows. They get to take a short break from pumping an episode out every week, so (ideally) they can focus on keeping animation quality up for the following cour. And secondly, the belief that Ad Stella would attract a new audience means a bunch of people who haven't seen those Gundam entries, so while the new crowd is itching for more Gundam, there's a cheap TV production for Bandai and something a little more digestible for new viewers in TV format. That said I think only Thunderbolt is a good choice for this format. Hathaway has a lot of baggage with it's main character, and NT is pretty bad itself, so it may backfire and turn people away from UC.
It seems really weird to me in general to do a TV edit of Hathaway already. You'd think they'd save it until the trilogy is actually done.
There are only 2 or 3 people even saying they liked Iron Blooded Orphans in the 40 odd comments of that article.
They appear to be tuning the actual conflict around generation tastes this time so that it's not another open war, at least at the beginning, and that's why the show focuses on a school setting at the start; to draw in the viewers they feel are ignoring them. Not even that's entirely new though, since Imagawa was told to make G a tournament anime because those were popular.
Does that mean that it's possible there will be an isekai Gundam anime someday?
Didn't Tomino already do that with Dunbine? main character gets in an accident then ends up in another world. I haven't seen it yet but I want to and that's all I've heard of the plot.
I just googled it to see, but I was imagining more that there are also mechs on the side of the protag who got isekaied.
Like the ELS QanT isekai into SEED for example, though not!Barbatos into not!SEED would be more interesting. You won't have anything outrageously powerful but you'll have nanolaminate armor.

Sounds almost Victory-tier
>Curious as to what the current state of the Earth is in this timeline
Probably like that Civ: Beyond Earth game. Rich guys abandon Earth and all its problems to live in the ultimate Gated Community. in Space Earth has problems but people wit money have no interest in fixing them, because they don't live there any-more.
Always remember that reprints are never a guarantee
With P-Bandai you have to wait a lot longer especially with unpopular kits. Also, I'm not sure when they last reprinted the individual kits, but it looks like most if not all of that can be made from regular release kits.
>either waiting for Byarlant custom 2 reprint in 8 years or pay $120

I think I saw one at Sakura Media in Burnaby, British Columbia on Thursday. That anywhere near you? They don't do shipping last I checked if you aren't.
Here too for online ordering.

Oh hey it’s the A-TOLL Scritti
Okay but Suletta isn’t Eri, right?
She probably is, yes. Just like she is unlikely to be the Char of the show, and just like the masked woman in the trailer probably is the Char of the show despite her having a "boring" color palette. You need to stop digging for a twist; especially when if there is one, you'll probably start making screeching noises about how the twist ruins the show.
People are too fixated on this instead of looking to the GUND format stuff and the potential for people's brains to go into/fuse with gundams. I swear there was an interview that dropped the term Mind Expansion with regards to the tech, but I can't find it.
>People are too fixated on this instead of looking to the GUND format stuff and the potential for people's brains to go into/fuse with gundams. I swear there was an interview that dropped the term Mind Expansion with regards to the tech, but I can't find it.
We already had UC having newtype ghosts haunting inside psychoframes. I was actually half expecting the protagonist's father's soul to somehow be sucked into some magical network after his sacrifice in the prologue. Especially with that bright li8ght he was seeing at the end. Together wit that ghostly broadcast of his happy birthday song that couldn't be blocked. And that his spirit might be accessible later in the show in some ghost internet.
>I was actually half expecting the protagonist's father's soul to somehow be sucked into some magical network after his sacrifice in the prologue.
We know from the gunpla that there's Lfriths coming back that I'm 90% sure are salvaged units from the prologue, his brain is absolutely stuck in there and Suletta will have to kill him.
Since Yanase designed the two suits you're referring to, a more likely explanation is one Lfrith MP that survived was captured and reverse engineered by one of the companies to make the two new ones
The only thing that has the slightest hint about this is the OP, and maybe the ED. The name connection assumes whichever guy named it had a good enough grasp of the english language to engaye in wordplay; it's just as likely that Prospera is a fan of System of a Down
And the novel and the timeline
The novel males zero implications about this, Suletta is the same as she is in the show and Aerial is a barely sentient AI with "protect suletta" as its only goal
You’re actually falling for it? Christ I know /m/ was full of secondaries but
Go back iToddler.
Counterpoint: Anime characters age faster than real people, at least in terms of visuals.
No they don't frick off you fricking tourist.
Kycilia Zabi was 24. Dozle was 28. They both looked like they were in their 40s. A lot of anime characters look way too young, or way too old.
It has NOTHING to do with "anime", it's just the style they chose to portray those characters.
That seems like rather a pedantic way to disagree, but okay. If that is true, then Delling's age is probably just a stylistic choice too regardless.
>This is just 30 boy, just 30!
It's 35 anon, not 30. It's such a silly age given how old he looks that it's a running gag in Build Fighters that he's only 35.
i know, "just 30" lined up better with "no zaku"
You guys are only 30, I just turned 39 last month.
South Burning had a massive drug problem off screen.
Source that isn't your ass?
Just a joke anon.
MMD?
What part of the novel implies it? Also, Lady Prospera has exactly the same voice actor, prosthetic arm and mannerism as Elnora, as well as being of roughly the right age to be Elnora a decade on from the events of the prologue; which is how long has apparently passed according to Suletta's memories in the novel. So she's probably Elnora. Which makes Suletta probably Ericht, even if it wasn't the obvious conclusion anyway.
Why would you ever think this?
Miorine's dad has aged way too much, there has to be some sort of twist gimmick, like Eri is actually Suletta's mom or something
No, there doesn't. It's been 13 years going off the novel, pushing Delling from probably his late 40s to his early 60s. Which is perfectly fine, and he looks like someone in his 60s.
He looks like he went from early 30s to early 60s
typo, meant to say early 30s to early 70s
Where in the novel does it say the Witch Hunt happened 13 years ago. Go ahead show us
It starts when Suletta is 4, it ends when she's told she's going to go to school aged 16. Which is 12 years. The trip adds enough time she's 17 when she arrives, making it 13 years instead of 12.
He absolutely does not look like a dude in his 70s in the show.
Where does it say the Witch Hunt was 13 years ago. You’re avoiding the question.
He looks older than my father who's 74
Should I paint Aerial Yuri Pink or Rainbow Gay?
Reminder that Aerial doesn’t once name their or Suletta’s mother.
Reminder that Lady Prospera has the exact same voice actor, prosthetic and mannerisms as Elnora, and that Suletta started playing Aerial's "shooting game" at age 4; exactly the same age as when Eri first piloted Lfrith. As well as that Suletta refers to Aerial as a sister, just like Eri referred to Lfrith.
So for Suletta to actually be Eri's mom, Eri would have had to create a mobile suit that looks like Lfrith, then have her daughter start piloting it at the same age Eri herself started piloting, refer to it by the same mannerism as Eri referred to the Lfrith and then end up with the same injuries as her mother as well as grow up to move and sound exactly like her mother. Boy that sure sounds more likely than "no, Suletta is exactly who she seems to be".
Where did I say anything about the witch hunt specifically?
He doesn't look particularly old beyond having white hair.
>Reminder that Lady Prospera has the exact same voice actor and mannerisms as Elnora,
If she's her daughter that'd make sense
>Prosthetics
Could be to mislead the viewer. The twist might be that she's actually telling the truth about how she got them.
What would such a twist accomplish?
Yeah, this. It's a twist for the sake of having a twist without really changing anything. It just shunts the revenge plot one generation.
> If she's her daughter that'd make sense
No, it wouldn't. No-one moves and sounds exactly like their parents. Most people only look kind of like their parents, never mind how they sound and move. It also doesn't account for Suletta's father at all in that scenario.
> Could be to mislead the viewer. The twist might be that she's actually telling the truth about how she got them.
Ah, so it's by pure coincidence that she happened to get exactly the same injury and the same prosthetic for the same injury? As well as sounding and moving exactly like her mother.
Go away, autist.

I'm trying to buy the fricking gunpla but it's backordered to buggery.
Yep, this getting more than 2 cours.
The writing will suffer, though
I just hope Miorine and Sulletta's popularity doesn't become a crutch.
C'mon admit it, you fear the yuri end.
At the rate things are going, 5000 yen will soon equal $3.50. Can Gundam continue to be profitable if the Japanese economy collapses?
moron
Scalpers on Mercari buy their own items themselves over and over again at inflated prices to fool morons like you into thinking that they're actually selling at those prices so that they then pay slightly less inflated prices for them

How are these characters going to end? Take your bets
Nika dies and Chu Chu takes revenge on Spacians. Or Chu Chu dies and Nika sabotages all Spacians Demi Trainers for a massacre. Either way I doubt both will survive the series.
Don't talk to me or my sister (older) ever again!
This guys Delanza has made me realize we haven’t seen any bazookas in G-witch Yet
I don't imagine they'd let the kids use heavy ordinance for their training/duels since that output can't be controlled like they can do with the beam weapons.
both the ranged and melee beams in the duels are already strong enough to go through mobile suit armor, they seem like proper weapons already.
Nice
Has anyone pictured Suletta as a spec ops maid? Well, there is the Girl Gun Lady & 30 Minutes Sisters Compatible Option Parts Set that can turn her into a maid and give her some weapons...
MAYBE IF YOU WOULD PRINT THE DAMN LFRITH AGAIN I WOULD
I'll cave and get Aerial and Michaelis

Guel...
My man. Holly frick I am rooting for him without even watching the episode.
Looks like the war begins anew between Guel and Mio, with a different reason altogether. I am surprised Elan wasn't the first. Funny enough, Guel still hasn't realized his machine was co-developed by Suletta's mother, so maybe it is starting to go full circle.
The moment she slapped his ass he fell for her.
He likes strong, independent and slightly moronic women.
slightly autistic*
This is gonna develop into reverse harem situation isn't it? I fricking knew it from the start.
I bet my ass that the deadpan dude and the oil baron prince will also propose to the moronic redhead protag in the near future.
Well at least its 1000% percent better than having to watch yuri gundam shows for 50 episodes though.
Guel just wants a mother's love in his life.
He probably doesn't want Suletta to be his wife, he wants her to be his mother substitute.
Shut up Char.
>he wants her to be his mother substitute.
Every man ever.
bravo Guel, bravo

Same, I wouldn't mind seeing more of this style humor

>Suletta doesn't react at all
Odd.
It can be repaired.
Guess it really wasn't a GUND-arm
Easily repaired damage. Now if it was a decapitation or getting Hyaku Shiki'd then I'm pretty sure she'd start losing her shit.
Dunno if you're talking about GUND physical links or emotional attachments but she did give a "guh" of pain as opposed to one of frustration like a UC antagonist would give. For now it could be interpreted as either physical synchronization or emotional attachment but the very frame clearly panned out from her own right arm
Anyone else hate how un-Gundam like this series so far by pandering hard to the Cinemaphile audience?
>un-Gundam
I'll take the bait, the frick does that even mean?
Rocket Punch.
It's not a UC reboot with the tired old Earth VS Space war so it's not Gundam.
The series takes place in a relatively peaceful time for once so the stakes are really low. The main conflict seems to be corporations vs the working class instead of the classical earth vs space.
Yeah, I think it's likely that Prospera is in league with the fat lady who was going to smuggle Miorine. There's likely a covert effort to unseat spacians/established corporations and improve the lot of Earthians.
What's the endgame? Reformation of humanity through the perfection of GUNDshit?
Seems like gund-arm technology is needed for people to survive the harsh environment in mercury.
>a relatively peaceful time for once so the stakes are really low
Yeah, I kind of get what you mean. It feels way too optimistic to be a Gundam series, possibly a bit too stylized. They're trying something very different here, and honestly it doesn't work for me.
Generally I watch Gundam for war, misery and people having a hard time. Even punching-bag SEED, Destiny and AGE had the occasional moment of cruelty (Seed actually has quite a lot of death and suffering) but this is oddly twee by Gundam standards.
>It feels way too optimistic to be a Gundam series
You obviously haven't watched ZZ, G, W, or X then.
>Generally I watch Gundam for war, misery and people having a hard time.
Fake-ass gundam fan. Got it.
It doesn't take place during an already occuring war, so it has huge MSV vibes like Astray or Gekko.
The usual gundam will probably be in the second season after mom declared war on the corpos.
There's no written rule on what audience will be targeted by every gundam series. Heck even Tomino have been encouraging to make new stories instead of recycling old ideas.
As long as it's good, i'll consoom it up like a moronic human beng.
I like it, Gundam trying new things is good. The anon who said it feels like an MSV is pretty on point, those stories tend to deviate from formula harder.
IBO had a similar feel.
>way too optimistic to be a Gundam series, possibly a bit too stylized.
Turn A, G-Reco, ZZ and G are the same way.
> I watch Gundam for war, misery and people having a hard time
The ethos of Gundam has always been to have a hopeful outlook on the world even if it comes through war.
This isn't a masochistic edgy series like warhammer or elfen lied or higurashi or Halloween that just has suffering for the sake of it.
If you get off to that your missing the point harder than the people who just like the robots.
>Turn A, G-Reco, ZZ and G are the same way.
Don't forget X.
And build series
Anyone else hate how un-gundam like this series so far by pandering hard to the Cinemaphile audience?
I don't know, maybe he's talking about how there's literally no Gundams in the Gundam show.
We'll be getting the Pharact in a few episodes. Still though, it's kind of nice that someone could inherit Tomino's ambition of having a show where there's no Gundam in the first few episodes, like he wanted to do with Victory.
I'll take the bait, but I'll still give reasoning.
They have said in interviews that this show was specifically made to change the pace and stick with the times. Gundam is often seen by young people as a show for old people. An aging fanbase is not good for the longevity of a business, look at Harley-Davidson.
Gundam has been designed to have the freedom and ability reform and reshape itself with multiple different series throughout the years. Saying it's "pandering hard" is literally Gundams business model in a way to keep itself relevant. Gundam can't be "un-gundam" G-gundam was hated for being un-gundam by a good amount of fans, but it undeniably saved the franchise by opening it up to this model.
Things change, and gundam was made to keep up.
No this is so far the first au I've enjoyed since like Greco if you count that as au if not since 00. Not that there's been allot in those spans. And discounting build but granted the only two of those I like are the og and rerize so pickings have been slim for non uc stuff I've liked.
>"I will hang on!"

Suletta is kind of mediocre as a pilot and I'm glad.
is she?
She's pretty smart, using her sisters breasts to defeat her enemy
>Horn is glowing as if it got hit by a light saber.
Huh?
hot gundam breasts
first time fighting in the rain i bet
Mercury prolly never rains or cant afford fake rains
shit happens
Do gundam weapons ever malfunction in rain or is Aerial the first one to do so?
>Do gundam weapons ever malfunction in rain or is Aerial the first one to do so?
There is generally episides about "fighting in water", "fighting in space" or "fighting in Earth gravity" where the battle had to win in unusual ways. A popular one is "fighting while falling into Earth from Space."
Yeah I know seawater nerfs beam sabers, unless you're Wingboys but this is just rainwater/fire alarm water, Aerial will job to a rainy season on Earth if this is all it takes
Makes sense I guess, Lfrith was never developed for earth use.
>Water cycles
>Ad Stella Earth
He doesn't know
From the sounds of it it's a universal trait of this timeline rather than just something effecting Aerial, just in this case it was while facing a melee spec'd opponent so the loss of it's ranged attacks stood out
It's not only a melee spec unit, Guel's beam saber straight up phases through Aerial's, clearly Aerial lacks waterproofing
I find it hilarious yet realistic as to how the beam saber slips away from the Aerial's arm due to the slipperiness from the squall.
Did you watch Seed? Kira's beam rifle didn't work when the Strike was submerged.
It's also possible that all their beam weapons are at a lower power setting since they're not exactly out to kill each other or punch holes in the colony, thus making it easier for water sprinklers to affect the beams.
Water traditionally nullifies or significantly depowers beam weapons, yeah.
It's why in other shows there are dedicated aquatic mobile suits, with their own weaponry for using in water
I think I really dislike Suletta.
t. Jeturk
Sucks to be you, brother.
She does get quite a lot of breaks, I have to admit. She was going to lose this episode if Cruel Jerk didn't sperg out over not winning 'honorably'.
>She was going to lose this episode if Cruel Jerk didn't sperg out over not winning 'honorably'.
the AI-piloted Darilblade was no match for the Aerial anymore after the rain stopped, if anything Guel-kun's fighting chances improved after the took charge

>TOAST EDIT WHEN?!?!
Still not here.
Kinda more interested in what Elan and Guel have in store more so than the two main protags.
she just eats up all the scenery
Made for correction
Does this dialogue imply that Secelia is actually a skilled pilot if she takes it seriously? Guel was a Holder before he switched his waifu after all.
There was dialogue in this scene?
Those were legit subs in those pics. It's either actually being a skilled pilot or that she's too wienery. Anyway, you think Secelia would fight Suletta at some point? It's pretty easy to say that she'd also fight Chuchu around those times as well.
I think the anon you replied to was too preoccupied with licking his screen to read the subs.
I was
But since you asked anyways I say it's highly likely since the major cliques are Chuchu's group, Jeturk House, and the Dueling Committee so it's only a matter of time until their conflict - that or it's kids vs adults and all the cliques group together like the Avengers
I liked the idea that Eri is Suletta's mom but the timeline and eyebrows don't match
Could be a Cyber GUNDtype
You mean Vifam all over again where we have mostly the students of Asticassia fighting against the entire Beneritt Group under Prospera's leadership.
Hey, at least we now know Elnora is going around as Prospera Mercury as her new legal name. Now we can all stick to using Prospera for her name from now on.
Nah, she's just being a deflecting b***h, talking about how he's gonna lose to the Aerial again. Top bangable though
They show that Sully doesn't know what a tomato is to show that she's a synthetic human removed from nature who doesn't know what natural food is.
Of course it's very ironic. Nevermind a tomato being a cultivated manmade plant that doesn't exist in nature - eating plants is extremely unnatural for a human in the first place. And we're already so far removed from nature we don't even realise it!
>eating plants is extremely unnatural for a human in the first place
Bro, monkeys eat fruits by default, and tomato is a fruit
Is it? Not the anon you replied to, but I thought it was a berry structurally.
I've never seen anyone say a berry isn't a fruit
fair enough
A monkey is not a human, monkeys are herbivores who can digest fiber, their digestive tract is 20 times lines than their body, while a human's is 5 times longer - like a carnivore's. Because humans are obligate carnivores. This is what I'm talking about, we're so synthetic we don't even know what we're supposed to eat.
It takes us more time and energy to digest meat than vegetable so we are more inclined to being plant eaters.
Various proto-humans and early humans were ominoves so far as the evidence suggests, eating nuts, berries etc. most days and meat every few days as and when they could get kills. Or in the case of some, scavenge the kills of other animals, since various proto and early humans may have actually been scavengers and not hunters or gatherers.
The horn itself isn't glowing, it just breaks off; what's glowing is the crack on the head where it broke. Which isn't really unexpected, since a lot of energy just got transferred through a tiny point.

>Encourages him in her own way during their ride in the elevator when he assumes anyone else would disparage him for wanting to stick to his principles
>Praises him for his skill in spite of the fact he lost to her again and probably awakening a praise kink in the lad
Honestly, it's not too surprising Guel fell for Suletta. It's a little sudden, I'll give it that... but I'll chalk it up to the writers working with the assumption that they may only get the single two-cour season.
Man has been flying high his whole life, unchallenged. First time he encounters a hitch his dad turns on him, slaps him about and puts an AI into his suit to pilot it for him. His whole world is probably crumbling around him, and then he encounters a single decent person who, despite besting him twice, shows him respect.
Suletta is the rock which he's going to be clinging onto, and what better way to do that than to marry her?
Men with daddy issues are just that starved for acknowledgement
Suletta is basically catnip for emotionally constipated corporate heirs, and I freely admit I am a sucker for emotionally challenged individuals clinging desperately to a beacon of light in the darkness surrounding their lives, so I'm 100% on board with the Reverse Harem Route Otome Game shenanigans.
>all this fluffy vibes
Shit, now I don't want the last arc to kill everyone at last moment, please don't pull another IBO S2 on us
They definetly will.
This is just
>What if we put build fighters character on a live or death situation
It's going to be effective as frick when they actually kill off someone
I'm pretty sure they'll ditch the school duels later on and escape to earth.
nothing personal kid
I imagine a LOT of students got very rich very quickly betting on Suletta, given that the one dude stated it was 8.6 to 1 odds. No wonder her phone was blowing up at the end of her match.
Man the /bet/ environment in that school must be nuts. Wonder if we might get a subplot about someone being paid off to throw a match.
I love these two saboteur dorks too much. I hope they don't die.
Same here; I wouldn't be surprised if they're the designated butt-monkeys of the series and I hope they survive against all odds, like Patrick Colasour.
Murder isn't an option for Miorine... yet. Until she's ready, she might not consider killing or patricide as an option despite openly hating her utilitarian father.
anon... they died..
Suletta learns a valuable lesson, don't leave DMs open
Think Aerial will get a mid-season upgrade, or just new gimmicks?
knowing bandai she'll get something at least, but no total upgrade until the second cour
The Mirasoul Unit has something installed in the booster parts besides new storage areas for the Beam Sabers. I feel like they're jammer cancelers or something to specifically counter Grassley machines.
Might be a mix of both, honestly. I imagine Suletta might want to get Aerial tuned for working better under heavy rain so her beams don't get gimped like they did in this episode.
>I too hope to gain revenge through the actions of my daughter
I forget, did Suletta come to the school with a crew? Who puts Aerial back together when it's had pieces cut off?
I assume Nika will step into that role.
>I forget, did Suletta come to the school with a crew? Who puts Aerial back together when it's had pieces cut off?
Her mum is the ruler of Mercury. It is a small mining colony but it has its own engineers. But it would be too much for the story if you portray the entire backup team needed to maintain a mobile suit. At least, they won't do that until they are in a warship.
I assumed the school just has mobile suit repair crew for them, but I guess it might put a dampen on Prospera's plans if someone went snooping around the Gundam's parts.
I guess Nika will do it.
Given the presence of AI in this setting, I wouldn't be surprised if Aerial itself can manufacture its own replacement parts by connecting to an external 3D printer/CNC system, and then have a bunch of drones handle the assembly.
Bros, our yuri bastion...
The brown guy will be spying on suletta too
Why do I have a feeling most of the stock is being bought by sadistic resellers a la PS5?
I can't really remember any other examples off the top of my head, is this the first time we've seen anti-beam countermeasures at mobile suit scale? Usually that's a ship weapon.
Bro your Hashmal?
SULETTA MERCURY WAS A WOMAN WHO MAY HAVE BECOME LIKE A MOTHER TO ME
Okay so this has to be going on in everyones mind now right?
The woman Suletta is calling Mom is not the one in the prolouge, so there are two possible answers:
1. Suletta is Eri but had amnesia or was brainwashed by the masked woman.
2. Suletta and Eri are twins so there will be two gundam protags in the coming episodes.
Maybe the coming Lfrith variants are going to be enemies because of the masked woman pretending to be Suletta's mom wanting revenge or something
Maybe she just dyed her hair?
>same VA, same hand, same eyecolor, same hairstyle but longer
what are you talking about
It's been years, anon. Of course she looks different and she'd dye her hair so she won't be recognized.
>same VA
>same eye color
>same prosthetic arm
She just grew out and dyed her hair for a disguise, and Eri is Suletta, there's no twist.
You really are gonna just grasp at this even as more and more comes out to the contrary huh?
Yay!
Did Mio Mio just jettison the smug duo into the cold embrace of void?
>#2 the witch from mercury
>#3 guel-kun
>#7 suletta
>#8 guel-kun
>#16 a man butting in between yuri girls
People are liking this new patrick, me included, this character trope really sells huh
Guelbros, its our time now!
already ordered a Aerial anon, bandai plastic warlords have some of my money
Chuchu's demitrainer is on top of my next purchase list but it depends on how much cute shit she does until the kit is released
You know despite being a total autist, she's not, like, unaware or a coward
Better that way. She has the character and conviction just not the people-experience. Reminds me of someone I knew whose first real people-experience was as a university freshman (homeschooled)
I eventually figured that out from when he was mad at her in the first episode she wasn't actually doing a weird autist cower, she was going into fight-me mode
She does the funny pose while piloting Aerial too.
>You think she's being adorably shy
>She's actually just forgetting that she isn't in a giant murder robot as she tries to kill you
>You know despite being a total autist, she's not, like, unaware or a coward
She was raised in a dangerous mining colony. Being tough is required.
>mom's a char clone
Wow, she has a revenge plot too, did Char write this shit?
GOD
All the character designs in this are great.
Calm down gentlemen
Who do I have to duel to marry her?
>Who do I have to duel to marry her?
It would be hilarious if she is like Juri of Utena, except she kept a (relative) low profile. And that means she might be one of the strongest pilots in the school and intentionally dress that way to provoke people.
We'll both have to duel her, then each other or something like that
this show is so bad
What is the latest gundam_laugh picture we need to update it.
Don't know where else to add her
Behind le creuset? Yazan is taking a lot of space
Alright I think I fixed it
She should be placed at the top because of the cropped helmet but it's already too crowded there.
It has been foretold
Is he a Patrick? The abrupt confession and losing mobile suits is definitely a link, but I'd say confessing to the gundam pilot herself puts him on a path of his own.
Well he'll be forging his own path but the trajectory is having him on a good road right now. He's gonna be interesting hopefully and well having a weirdo like him around could be dare I say fun
Does that mean he has plot armor now? I want them to keep him till the end
You don't understand. Purple and pink hair...
Wanting an honorable fight instead of his backers stacking the deck for a free wing...
Guel is none of those rivals...
HE'S CHIBODEE CROCKET
GOD BLESS THE NEO USA
I've been saying this and nobody believed me. He even has the groupies.
>best suit
>chad
>butting in Yuri relationship
Guel is based
This is very far removed from a proper Gundam series so should the discussions be moved to Cinemaphile? I’m sure most /m/en don’t consider this otome series that barely features mechas a proper Gundam series.
Shut up moron.
He'll keep spamming if you mongols also keep replying
I'll give anybody a (you)
This dude didn't watch the show
This is why I kept begging those idiots at Cinemaphile to fold G-Witch topics to Ayakashi Triangle ones, since Kana Ichinose is starting to become the yuri overlord, what not with the fact that among Suletta's harem, Miorine is the main girl in comparison to Guel and Elan. If we'll talk about G-Witch standalone, it remains in /m/.
/m/en dont post here anymore
Yes we do.
so that was a fricking lie
Do you always believe random twitter users?
Of course it was a fricking lie. They got attention and nothing about being wrong will ever come back on them. Whyever did you believe it in the first place is the question.
not twitter, the source of that is a fricking anon with "japanese animator as his contacts" in Cinemaphile I remember laughing my ass of reading that thread
>anon with "japanese animator as his contacts"
lol
Lmao even the title card mimics Utena's one. I was lowkey hoping for a pre-duel sequence, but that would have been too much I guess. I wonder if Suletta will turn into a car by the final episode.
Think the Utena vibes were really just for the first episode since nothing since then has matched anything in it
>nothing since then has matched anything in it
Guel asks for a rematch like Saionji does, the Dueling Committee acts like the Student Council. I'm not saying every shot and plot point follows Utena though, last episode's ending is proof of that.
Not quite. If anything, the one who should die in the end is Aerial, as with most MS that get destroyed at the end of its story (mostly in UC, since most AU do not end with the main MS destroyed, with IBO being a primary outlier due to the MC dying along with it). We won't be sure if Suletta and Mio will part ways after making it to Earth, but they will almost always come in contact every once in a while. As for the main boys, maybe one or two of them will die while falling out of love for either or both of the girls. I could hope that Shaddiq, ever the ladykiller he is, could survive and run a reformed Beneritt Group to repent the sins of the fathers (primarily Kennanji, hopefully), since he is pretty good in running a business.
>ふむ…なるほど…ガンダム板だな?
>Hmm... I see... this is a Gundam board, isn't it?
I hope we get Setsuna and Aerial in SRW
You know they're just going to use Barbatos and Sulletta for now, I do wish for 00 and Mercury interactions, the character vibes are complete 180 of each other
I bursted out of laugh seeing the guy propose to Suletta
Is this gonna be the birth of new sex symbol after Loran?
She's a female MC, in a light hearted settings, of course everyone wants to fick her
Tanned skin, kinda androgynous looking. Dork from a far off land.
Everything's looking like it's coming up like Loran.
I hope so!
I just got around to read the short novel. Why isn't it in the anime? Because they don't have much time?
> Suletta "social anxiety" Mercury is cracking the spacenoid corpos apart from the inside by accidentally gaining a harem of their children.
And we already know that the Earthnoids aren't exactly fond of being considered something of an underclass, especially what we've seen of mechanic girl and Chuchu.
What are the odds that, between Suletta getting more of the corpo kids to not follow their parents plans a al Miomio and Guel-kun, and the Earthnoids seemingly having beef with the corporate space oligarchy, do you think we'll actually start seeing a real conflict begin during G-Witch's run? I'd imagine it would be something for the second cour/back half of the series, if at all.
Where do you think G-Witch is going narratively, anon?
After this episode, I guess it's going to turn into the school turning into a faction in the middle of a larger conflict like in Valvrave eventually. But, yeah, end of q1 or q2 stuff, not now.
>do you think we'll actually start seeing a real conflict begin during G-Witch's run
Yes. The prologue exists, and Miorine's smuggler and Prospera obviously have a scheme in mind and a desire to change the status quo.
The fricking shitstorm on /u/
My sides.
I'm waiting for the upgraded kit because I feel like it's going to have like 2x the funnels and funnels are cool
There's a flight unit coming, I doubt we'll be seeing any proper upgrades this cour. Maybe in the 2nd half, but doubtful.
Aerial was going to be scrapped and Suletta expelled. Miorine managed to persuade her dad (with the help of CEO Jeturk and other tech hungry corporates) to abide by his own system of duelling and let Suletta fight to legitimise her win.
Jeturk wanting to reclaim their pride is part of it, but mostly it was the board seeing the potential of whatever tech Aerial is using to push back against competitors who are gaining mobile suit market share.
So, I’ve got what’s probably a dumb question.
The results of the first duel were voided because Aerial was an illegal Gundam, right? But then they decided that she wasn’t a Gundam. So why did they refight the duel rather than just reverse the decision to void it?
Wait, nevermind. I’m moronic. It’s because that Jeturk fella (stupid name BTW) wanted an excuse to use their new mobile suit to shit on Suletta. Though that also begs the question of why wouldn’t they wait until they had some data on Suletta to feed into the AI rather then just sending it out mostly blind.
I just wanna see ChuChu put on a helmet tbh
The one bit of mechanical design I'm most looking forward to.
I wonder how Mobile Armors are going to play a role in this.
Maybe they won't at all.The show is already trying to do it's own thing so I don't think it's even guaranteed.
You say that like a show with no mobile armors would be new for Gundam. There weren't many dedicated mobile armors in most shows after the original, because they don't sell as well as mobile suits. Zeta had some, but they were secondary transformations for mobile suits rather than dedicated mobile armors. There are basically none in ZZ though, beyond Puru II using the returning Psyco Gundam Mk II with it's mobile armor transformation for flight, only the Devil Gundam's mobile armor mode in G, none in Wing, none in Turn A and none in AGE so far as I recall.
AGE had the Lemon.
Pretty sure AGE has not bigzam and whatever the frick the bird monster robot thing is called
Did episode 2 and 3 really have sakuga problem?
They’ve backpedaled and said it wasn’t that bad
>AOTs struggle was never obvious
I can tell he never watched it.
its clear there is a problem with your head for posting this shit
Reminder to watch classic mecha anime like on this recommendation chart.
Make your own thread shithead
I only watch good shows like legend of the blue wolves
