I'm gonna be honest guys
I rewatched the series and honestly thought the last seasons were a great way to end the show.
I loved the ending for Sansa, we see her grow into a woman and navigate Westeros' politics. She's so incredibly savvy politically that she becomes queen and establishes the north as their own kingdom.

unironically this
People who hate are mad because they thought one thing and hung all their expectations on that thing and when thing turned out different they threw their nuggets at the screen.
Every season is a solid 7/10. People overrated the early seasons and then underrated the later seasons because everything is binary 1 or 10 with morons.
>first it was hell frickin epic then later it was total bullshit no in between!
Nah it was just okay from beginning to end. If anything the later seasons became more focused and less edgy.
This show has a significant decline pretty much in line with HBO as a whole. Season 1 is fair to say a 9/10
2 an 8/10
3-4 a 7/10
Then suddenly 5 is a 5/10
6 is a 4/10
7-8 are a 1/10 having genuinely zero elements of redemption
yeah that what all you nerds say, I stand by my assessment
7/10 from beginning to fricking end
every season could have been improved in different ways, but none was bad
You have to be literally brain damaged to say this. Seasons 5-6 are bad, but okay, maybe you are just supid and have shit tase. Season 7 was abysmal, but okay, maybe you are really that stupid.
But my fricking god, season 8 is so terrifying that no matter how dumb you are, you can not tell me you don't see it. Even all of the fricking npc drones that praised season 7 woke the frick up. It's beyond what constitutes as 'bad', 'awful', etc. It's D&D taking their pants off and shitting all over themselves, scooping that shit, eating some and throwing the rest at the viewers while maniacally laughing.
Frick you, you dumb c**t. If you truly believe season 8 to be anything other than cancerous embarassment, pic fricking related.
see here's another good post that encapsulates the basic problem with got viewers
>it HAD to be this, but because it wasn't this, it was worthless shit
>anyone who doesn't agree with me should be dead
It's always so insanely extreme with you nuts. You can't handle someone liking something you hate any more than you could handle the series not ending the way you expected it to.
>no it was supposed to be muh Jon kill night king!
>nooo khaleesi was supposed to save westeros it's bad writing if it's something else!
>nooooo my Stannis the mantis should be king not Bran the busted up!
>noooooo have a nice day if you feel differently about muh dragon show!
whatever I ain't mad I'm gonna rewatch the series again and enjoy myself.
not that anon but anyway: these things aren't problems inherently, but the execution was awful and that's why the season was awful
>no it was supposed to be muh Jon kill night king!
The big bad inevitable force of nature getting defeated by a choreographed knife trick is an insanely lazy end to something that was hyped up from the very first scene of the show. Especially since he was totally immune to dragonfire, yet the other dragon-related weapon instagibbed him. Pathetic.
>nooo khaleesi was supposed to save westeros it's bad writing if it's something else!
Her going insane is pretty cool in a kind of cynical way, but there just isn't enough emotional weight behind the events we're supposed to believe led to her snapping. It's weak.
>nooooo my Stannis the mantis should be king not Bran the busted up!
Bran being VOTED king, after doing nothing for 8 seasons, by a tiny and half-random assortment of people, many of whom have precious little political power, who have barely met him and have no idea what he actually does, was the crowning israeliteel of stupidity.
>being this passionate about this gay fricking show
It was okay. All of it. Season 1 is just as good as season 8, which is just passable television, much to your autistic dismay.
>everything is good, stop criticizing anything you ungrateful swine
Peak NPC mentality.
Dude this better be fricking bait
you got shit taste OP ngl, I find the show unwatchable after S4 and its barely watchable after S2, this is coming from a huge fantasy fan
I mostly enjoyed the final season, things finally came to fruition
however, I still hated
>Arya going ninja assassin on the whitewalkers, very anti-climatic
>Danny's death, she didn't even get to sit on the throne
>the entire final 20 minutes of the show was lame
pfffft
HAHAHAHAHA
lol, the severe drop in quality is really unbelievable in Season 5-8
I need more bongbux
I still get goosebumps when I hear the soundtrack. It's a damn shame, I could even be okay with the ending if it were just done fricking better.
I always stop my rewatch on season 4. Best part of seasons 7 and 8 when they aired live were the leaks, nobody believed them at first cuz they were so fricking moronic but then they all were true
>I have zero media literacy skills and just want to uncritically consoom the slop
We know, OP.
The only things it will be remembered for are
>tanking the careers of everybody involved
>an ending so poorly received it prevented GRRM finishing his shitty books
>being the most Reddit TV show of all time.
That's the GOT legacy
>loved the ending for Sansa, we see her grow into a woman and navigate Westeros' politics. She's so incredibly savvy politically
I absolute loathe everything about later season Sansa. First few seasons I hated her but writing wise it made sense why she was that way. Later season. Might be some of the absolute laziest writing I've ever seen.
>We are told multiple times that's she become one of the smartest players in the game.
We're shown this by having other characters lose IQ points around her or be told that obviously terrible descions are smart. Like antagonising the most powerful leader in the world after said leader just sacrificed a great deal to save your kingdom. A lot of her "smart" only make sense to make if she had read the script and knows what's going to happen.
>We are told that she has a great love for the North and the Northmen.
The only positive interactions between her and people of the North is the one old lady who gets killed by Ramsay, and the other when the Northern Lords question Jon's leadership which really only shows how fickle the Northern Lords are. And not once is it brought up that she let hundreds of Northmen die in the Battle of the Bastards because she deliberately neglected to tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale.
GIVE ME BONGBUX
1-4 were amazing, 5 a bit less. 6-8 were absolute shit
obv ties in with lack of source material
Nice bait. Ending wasn't that bad though.
