Graphic designer here and it bothers me too, whoever was designing the poster obviously didn't give a shit, or maybe they were just following orders from someone else that didn't give a shit. But while putting together the poster it should have bothered them.
There's a video for even the most basic bullshit nowadays. These videos are usually made for the people who don't want to actually watch movies or pay attention to them so they watch these short 5-10min videos instead so they can pretend they saw it.
Weirdly what I disliked the most about it was how the stupid thing was indestructible. Hard vacuum, fire, cold, etc. nothing affected it. That's just silly.
Okay then break it down for us because your post is fricking derivative and generic as frick pointing out nothing but stating your opinion nonetheless.

That's partly why it was scary because it seems possible. Like tardigrades but science-fiction. Totally not silly just alien.
not him but the whole "wow is that a pile of alien goo let's poke it with a stick" is not really believable. would get quarantined behind a foot thick glass and no humans would get near it. also probably killed first.
Yeah, I remember watching that documentary too except it was science fiction and loosely possible enough for people to suspend disbelief. >would get quarantined
The captain said she allowed it to be brought onboard and scienced because the quarantine rules. Believable enough for me.
They weren't vents they were an emergency fire suppression system. It couldn't be switched off beacuse it's an emergency fire suppression system. They had to do a quick hack and shut them down one at a time. Pay attention to the movie next time.

Always hated movie posters with actors names and portraits present but not in the same order.
Bothers me too but this happens when checks are in the mail and some actor's agent calls and points out their contract says their name has to be before someone else who has less awards/films/earnings and a call is made, graphics are changed, and some poster viewers are annoyed afterward.
This being the result of contract issues regarding who is named first in credits makes sense. The composition of the poster, as in the angle each actor is photographed, means you cannot just slide their images around to match the credit order. I don't know if I've EVER seen a poster where the order matches.
Remember when people thought that this was the Venom movie? There was a rumor that whatever monster it is that's attacking them was going to be revealed to be the symbiote. At the end it would escape to Earth and then we'd get Venom.
She believed in her ability to keep the quarantine rules intact because the final quarantine measure was to shoot them into the sun and kill them and since she loved everyone onboard she had to be strict. I remember it being panned but it is a pretty good movie.
> frightening body horror
Sex with Rebecca Ferguson!
I tried watching it and found it uninteresting and derivative
>not making the ending the prelude to venom
What the frick Sony?
That wouldn't make any sense. The venom symbiote can't do shit on it's own.
I would have upvoted that so freaking hard.
but Venom is stupid and gay and makes jokes, meanwhile this was a legit horror.
the kills are creative and gruesome, I like this movie a lot.
the creature is terrifying as well, wouldn't want to cross paths with something like that, especially in space.
WAtched it in a theater almost alone, and it was an experience, the scenes with alien chasing them with intense music, were a blast

Fun movie
i remember there being a lot of hype about it around the time it came out then it suddenly disappeared. usually that means it was shit
For me it's the opposite, I don't remember any hype at all.
Calvin did nothing wrong
(except for killing the rat)
He's literally me.
I laughed when Ryan died in the first like ten minutes lmao.
Its kino
good movie. ending was a little dark, but it was definitely effective
it's too depressing, the ending is really fricked up
What is there even to explain? It's pretty obvious what happened

I never hated a CGI floating blob more. Frick Calvin. Good movie.

agreed. plot armor.
why is the iss ran by idiots, no astronaut will ever be as dumb as Ryan Reynolds character
The problem with a lot of recent films is they borrow so heavily from other movies that they lack their own identity.

I see Ryan Reynolds on the poster so I don't think he's a gem
He dies
This movie is ruined by how the vents in the.lab close
Why WOULDN'T they all close at once
They weren't vents they were an emergency fire suppression system. It couldn't be switched off beacuse it's an emergency fire suppression system. They had to do a quick hack and shut them down one at a time. Pay attention to the movie next time.

Last scene with the pod was best. Everything else in the trash
>that meme cast
Guaranteed to be some "Well THAT just happened..." shitfest.
Ryan reynolds dies horribly in the first ten minutes. Its subversive as frick lol

That seems like a good idea
its mid, sputnik is similar and slightly better.

better than I thought it would be
scary ending too
There's only one reason to watch that insipid dreck for sci-fi midwits.
you didn't need to spoil that, it was obvious
It was not good, but there is much worse, so idk
I like the tone shift from smug, quipping "science the shit out of this" to pure dread
