Nah she's a goodie. Funny thing about the heroes in this one is they each obviously have "Ridiculously OP super villain powers" but are still relatively inexperienced and trying to do good. The real twist would be seeing each of them get to a breaking point where they just stop giving a frick and going dark side. Even Tek was cautious of blondie and Marie just learned she can manipulate blood while still inside the body. This is a villain origin story.

It's somehow even more on the nose than the main show. Also, the new episode's writing took a nosedive. There are parts in this episode like the "Oh that guy you're looking for? I know where he lives what a coincidence! *hard cuts*" that were distractingly bad.

I feel like the writing is just totally lackluster. None of the main characters are likeable, Marie does fricking nothing and has no personality, and a lot of the shit that goes on just makes no sense at all.
The only Supe who isn't a weird homosexual in the comics is The Deep, who's a businessman, so that's just them being faithful to the source material.

The whole point of the comic is to 1.) make fun of superheroes being nutjobs and unfit to help society and 2.) shitting on corporations and their amorality, with Vought being a shitty weapons manufacturer that killed tens of thousands of American soldiers supplied with their guns before they lucked out with the superhero cashcow, which they also want to foist on American soldiers with exactly the same results as their previous ventures. The fact that Amazon bought the show rights and turned it into their cash cow means they'll obviously lean heavier on the superhero nutjob angle. But even then they're toning it down heavily, making a school drama show for the X-Men crowd instead of using the comic Xavier expy who "trains" all the little orphan kids that are given to him by raping them. The whole point of the comic is to 1.) make fun of superheroes being nutjobs and unfit to help society and 2.) shitting on corporations and their amorality, with Vought being a shitty weapons manufacturer that killed tens of thousands of American soldiers supplied with their guns before they lucked out with the superhero cashcow, which they also want to foist on American soldiers with exactly the same results as their previous ventures. The fact that Amazon bought the show rights and turned it into their cash cow means they'll obviously lean heavier on the superhero nutjob angle. But even then they're toning it down heavily, making a school drama show for the X-Men crowd instead of using the comic Xavier expy who "trains" all the little orphan kids that are given to him by raping them. This is Soldier Boy and Homelander in the comics.

I am as anti-trans as the next anon but I don’t see the problem with Jordan the "trans" hero in the show. She can biologically swap genders genitals and all so I don't even consider her trans. When she's a female she IS a female. When he's a male he IS a male.
