The leak was a rough cut, so they could've always substituted original tracks for the pop songs used later down the line. Pretty sure I heard a couple John Williams scores in there, as well. Wasn't amazing, but I found it fun for a modern Popeye feature.

This show almost has it, but it feels like it's pulling in so many directions with the aesthetics. Half the characters look Fleischer inspired, many look modern then that elf guy looks like he's an Ishinomori character. There are all these hallmarks of traditional animation but it's got this overbearing, murky digital coloring and lighting that doesn't match that at all. You got tiny bits of fluid frame by frame contrasted directly with simple digital tweening and animation loops. It just looks strange.

Genndy is good with dog humor, so I have some hope for this

I always felt like it being called "getting fixed" was creepy, like that's saying it's how it's supposed to be. I guess it's more like a shorthand for "fixed up" now though. It still feels weird to say sometimes.
I’m a simple man, if you make a 2D animated movie I go and see it, even if the premise is this god awful. Hopefully this is more Ren and Stimpy and less Sausage Party.

Sausage Party is something about MUH SEX.
Literally every other adult animated movie is about MUH SEX AND VIOLENCE. A Rick and Morty movie would be no different.
Fixed is also MUH SEX but it also deals with the tough topic of being castrated and basically an ennuch. It has the potentiol to be 'brilliant' or to be yet another lame adult animation.
Sausage Party was mainly about religion and racial stereotypes, despite the name.

Primal had a good thing going on, but he fricked it all up with the 2nd season. I don't even know who the frick is the audience for that Unicorn show. It's all over the place from the visual style and tone, it's obnoxious.

Not at all. Genndy’s got the street cred to get an original 2D animated adult feature funded by a major U.S. studio, and he’s using the opportunity to force his fans to watch cartoon dogs have an orgy. I respect that level of trolling.
