Well maybe I liked the premise that I started watching it for? The series was sold as caveman and dinosaur adventures, and that’s what I watched it for. Everything gets boring if it's done too often. I think that s1 was a 10/10 but I had the feeling that it would have gotten boring if it progressed like this for another ten episodes or so. An anthology would be the perfect middle ground since it could give us some Spear episodes but also some wholly different shit that carries the spirit of s1 and explores more of the dark bizarre setting and creatures in that world.

Yeah me neither. It would be cool and hell maybe we would even get a prequel episode if they wanted to show more of Spear. And the world was cool and honestly I was sad that they killed and replaced it with halfassed historically inspired shit later. The only cool part was the flaming wraith who was hunting Spear. I want more crazy pulp shit like that.
