I don't think they sold her enough as a character before they paired her with Miles. There was an interesting angle with how brutal she was while pursuing justice. Could have given them reasons to butt heads despite the attraction. But she stopped being brutal immediately, and thus stopped being interesting as well. She's just kind of sassy now, and the conflict between them is mostly just Miles neglecting her like every other girl in his life. She's got potential but she is effectively Barbara 2.0. I wonder when Ganke is going to frick her.

I consider that shit dubiously canon. I can't say it was never going to become official outside a terrible crossover event, but from what I see there are multiple in-universe options in line ahead of an alternate universe Gwen Stacy. I didn't perceive any danger of this happening outside of maybe a callback.
