Same shit happened to me. >Go to bed >Wake up after 2-4 hours feeling wired >Spend the rest of the day as a zombie barely able to function
Took about 3 weeks to get back to normal after I stopped. Honestly amazed that I didnt lose my job or get into a car accident.
Yes "inhibiting testosterone" is an oversimplification. It inhibits the conversion of testosterone into a more active and potent form, fricking up your hormonal axis. It's used as a treatment for enlarged prostate in older men, and causes erectile dysfunction and breast tissue growth as side effects.
I know this because I'm an actual medical doctor, you stupid coping troony. Did you PA "primary care provider" forget to discuss the side effects?
>Thinks paragraphs are reddit spacing, uses the term to try to fit in >continues to believe that a magical pill will stop the Norwood reaper without chemically castrating him
Good liddle goy, shut down dat intoinet misinformation! A healthy young man like you needs a full head a hair (and poihaps a liddle less of dat toxic masculinity)
It's the most potent form of testosterone. Without it, men wouldn't even undergo adolescence and would become ladyboys, like some asian populations, i.e. thai ladyboy syndrome.
It's also essential for masculine behavior, gives your mood a sense of being at ease and assertion.
I talked to my doctor about it and he said if I'd really want no balding the treatment would be comparable to a chemical castration. I looked up the side effects and I'm never touching that stuff.
I fricking cant dude. I go to sleep at 11, wake up at 2 and can’t fall back asleep if my life depended on it. I’m so tired that I feel drunk and I can’t remember conversations I had 2 days ago
It will get worse. You will begin to hallucinate things, think the government is out to get you, FBI agent is hiding under your bed. Seriously, stop taking it and get sleep. If you don't sleep 8 hours every day you age 10x faster. I am not even hyperbolic, it's extremely bad, even worse than heavy drinking and drug use.
It takes about 5 days. Maybe melatonin would help in the short term. But don't take melatonin long-term because you won't be able to have sleep without it.
>8 hours of sleep as an adult
7, perhaps even 6, is fine.
No it's not. A small subset of people can stay healthy on 7 hours but it's very rare. 6 hours is increased cancer risk, dementia and all the rest of it for 99.99% of the population. Just because you feel okay in the morning after 6 hours doesn't mean your body repaired itself adequately and the damage accumulates.
I’ve been taking melatonin, Benadryl, advil pm (sometimes combined) and nothing seems to help. Got sober a few years ago so alcohol isn’t an option. I think I’m just gonna have to wait it out.

Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is also something you want to stay away from.
>tfw getting around 4-5 hours of sleep for the past 2-3 years now
Past few months I've been napping more at least
There are very few things you cannot recover from and long-term lack of sleep is one of them. You are causing yourself DNA damage, mutations. Fix the problem.
The body repairs itself fine as long as you lie in bed for 8 hours

Getting addicted to adderall and staying up for days on end for years in college was the worst mistake of my life, genuinely think I lost 15-20 IQ points

When I was in college, I noticed a lot of people would constantly try to one up each other with how little sleep they got. I pulled at least an all nighter a week closer to the end because I was horrible with procrastination but I can’t believe people are actually proud of not sleeping, of all things. Sleep deprivation is insanely bad for your health.

benadryl can frick your sleep up itself. When I take it it makes me antsy and makes it impossible for me to sleep, and apparently this is a relatively rare reaction some people have to it.
other than that just drink tons of water to try and flush it out faster

>Benadryl
Not good for sleep. Yeah it'll make you feel more tired but it actually tanks your quality of sleep and often makes it harder to stay asleep.
Started with 1mg daily, then decreased to 0.5mg daily. I’ve heard anything less isn’t really effective.
I have thick long hair that styles well and every girl I’ve dated has told me it’s my best feature. Then when I turned 28 it started falling out like crazy. I really want to save it but fin is clearly not the answer.
>oh no the weird silica shit that grows out of tiny roots in my scalp is thinning!!!!!!!
a friend of mine spent 8k for these insane hair replacement sessions where they take one hair at a time and jam them in the thin patches
going bald in your 30's and 40's is actually pretty forgiving considering all the microplastics and industrial toxins we are all consuming. accept it and move on with your life.
Literally just buzz cut it and forget about it, vapid shits that care about that are not worth your time, because if it wasn't your hair it'd be your height or your jaw or whatever else, constantly trying to meet others expectations is a road to a shallow and anxious existence, always waiting for the next thing about your self that you need to "fix" for someone else's benefit

Is that a common side effect?
Seems like it’s pretty common from what I’ve seen on forums, probably the second biggest reason people quit after ED
Imagine being a baldcel
Try dutasteride.
>Actively suppressing your testosterone for the sake of your hairline
You are now at least 50% troony
It doesn't suppress testosterone.

no refunds lol lmao

I'm glad you've decided to join this exciting internet community, newfriend. Here's a helpful guide to get you started!

we're obviously talking about a post-pubescent adult bodies here

you're a moron
>3hrs/night
That's very bad for you. Taking pozzed Black person dick in your ass would be healthier. Get some sleep.

It's amazing how much poor sleep fricks with your brain.
Stopped taking it 3 days ago btw, keeping my hair isn’t worth this hell

is dutasteride worth 3x the price of finasteride?
I took duta when I noticed some diffuse thinning. Very effective.
any sides?
>skin quality much improved
>less simpy towards women
otherwise i havent noticed much
you that shit permanently destroy your testosterone receptors and gives you manbreasts right?
Just be a chad bald bro

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
going bald was kinda easy for me since it suits me and my hair was p shitty anyway.
but i can imagine that it really hurts if you have good hair.

Once he gets on finasteride, he'll have 3 more strands of hair and a nice pair of breasts
>one guy out of millions who take it got gyno
>out of the millions who were partially feminised, only a few got full blown breasts
by partial feminisation do you mean they didnt go bald? sounds good
its over
But you look great though.
