Ending was thoroughly mediocre and killed my interest in rewatching. Hirsch blew his load on Ford's mystery and everything after NWHS was a letdown. Alex truly was the Mystery Hack all along.
A Tale of Two Pines was a great episode. I can understand why it pissed a bunch of people off who were overinvested in the Deep Lore but as piece of storytelling it's solid.
Everything between that and Dipper and Mabel vs the Future was incredibly weak padding though.
Yeah, I'd forgotten Stan and Ford's flashback was a standalone episode. Now that you bring it up I do recall enjoying it at the time.
In other words, what you liked was being in the fandom, not the show itself
>you liked being in the fandom, not the show itself
In fairness, the show itself leaned into that by including a slow burn mystery best appreciated in the company of turboautists. I can't imagine it's as fun picking it apart alone or being spoiled from day one.
IIRC, he outright said after the finale that they didn't have enough sitcom ideas to fill out another full season. Also core crew like Dana Terrace were moving on to other project regardless.
Did the lungfish refuse to breathe air? It did not. It crept forth boldly while its brethren remained in the blackest ocean abyss, with lidless eyes forever staring at the dark, ignorant and doomed despite their eternal vigilance. Would we model ourselves on the trilobite? Are all the accomplishments of /gfg/ fated to be nothing more than a layer of broken plastic shards thinly strewn across a fossil bed, sandwiched between the Phineas shale and an eon's worth of brown girl slop?
Move on, anon, there's plenty of fish in the sea.
still the most overrated cartoon of the decade
You really had to be there.
I was there.
By the time it ended half of /gfg/ admitted the show was disappointing.
In other words, what you liked was being in the fandom, not the show itself
Why can't it be both
That’s how it was with me and horse show until I realised how mid it truly was
Season 1 was good though, it's the rest of the show that killed the magic for you.
>her face just before I cum on it
I'm sorry for your loss.
Mable truly was the worst character.
Don't be sad it ended.
Be mad it ever happened at all.
Sex with Mabel

Last season seemed truncated.
Why didn’t he go for another season to stretch things out?

>tfw no GF

Don't be sad that it's gone, be happy you got to experience it
Yeah and Good Riddance.
