I draw the line at troons appearing in something. I don’t even know any other things with troons in it besides Fallout and Euphoria but I wouldn’t watch either.
>LGBT
One minor character is referred to as "they" one time >and racemixing
One WMBF couple that has a child and one BMWF couple that have absymal chemistry, share one kiss, and will likely become enemies in future seasons.
All characters exist in a kind of post-racial society where everyone sounds like a white person
Do you enjoy watching the main actress get fricked by an aryan chad on the very first episode, followed by her getting humiliated repeatedly by a southern cowboy who also manhandles a dumb black guy?
Yea, moron just let me watch all the fricking movies and shows I might consider and actually spend 399999999 hours finding out that the majority of them are hot garbage instead of shortcutting it by asking others.
It's probably more moronic to ask Cinemaphile. if you're too gay to just watch it yourself and decide... you'll probably feel more comfortable asking somewhere on reddit. the only thing here are a bunch of trolls and gays who don't have an interest in a show other than watching to desperately search for anything woke so they can squeal about it here.
If you’re a casual fallout fan and not the biggest lore homosexual in the world or /misc/tarded and just enjoy some light fan service it’s a pretty fun show. A couple of very minor plot holes and predictable story elements to anyone generally familiar with the fallout universe.
You definitely notice some of the recycled set pieces, like they didn’t want to spend a bunch of resources creating something only to be used once. A few very kino moments, decent gore, the humor is a bit mixed but not cringe, good acting all around, definitely captures the aesthetic and feels like they put some care into the production instead of pumping out some dog shit cash grab.
8/10 will be watching season 2 >inb4 I’m a troony israeli shill Black person lover
Third answer AI bots are becoming more frequent on Cinemaphile and routinely give answers that genuinely don't track sometimes. Started noticing this happen more frequently around 6 months ago.
Why the frick don’t they show any of the five great states of the NCR? Why didn’t they show the functional metropolis of vault city? Why did they pretend everyone on the surface is a drugged out raider schizo or cooky? Why did they pretend that having functioning, stable power was a first time event in 200+ years? When it was achieved over 150+ years ago in lore.
It's somewhat entertaining but it has several moments of plot convivence and "that makes zero sense" moments that personally took me out several times. It's by far the least woke show Amazon has produced lately. There's one instance of a they/them that is only brought up in one sentence and it has two inter-racial couples (if you even consider that "woke.") It has a lot of fun Easter eggs and some points really feel like Fallout. I don't think it's as good as people are saying but more like a 6.5/7 out of 10. It would be better if the writing was better and the clear plot convivences were betetr hidden or non-existant.
This. It was a 6-7/10 for me too. It felt like the writers played Fallout and wasn't particularly woke like others have said, but I thought the writing was mediocre and not one joke made me crack a smile. The humor can be crude but isn't particularly clever. Chicken fricking jokes and the like. It's alright. I'm still considering whether I want to finish the last two episodes but it's more out of meh than dislike.
>Black women and scientists are the villains just like real life >main basketball american is a bootlicking incel that could have "had sex". Walton Goggins is kino but his character has a black daughter. There's some Hispanic troony in like 2 scenes and they cut themselves (lol).
If that's too woke for you skip it. Because around the 3rd episode the quality drops and the pace slows. It does this to focus on the main story. It's just that the main story is only "meh". Feels like I've seen it before.
I'm up to episode 4 and the only scene that was shit dialogue wise was a sub 60 second bit where the guy talks about his wiener exploding. Outside of that it's been all good and I recommend it.
Season 1 was entertaining and all but not much really happened by the end. >it's revealed vault tec nuked america >brotherhood gets fusion, nothing comes out of it
And that's it. Season 2 is going to bring bigger plots like >new vegas >enclave >ncr and the legion maybe
It'll have to be major expansion of locations and characters
One thing I like to commend is the show absolutely nails the look and feel of fallout, bethesda fallout at least. Even the run down walls on old abandoned buildings feel spot on. It's really well done lol
I´m not a fallout fan so i can only analysis this on it´s own merits but so far i´ve found it enjoyable.
I like the setting and visual style and i think the multy character approach works for the show. Some may not like Lucy 50´s optimism but it´s near moronation is charming and it leaves room for the character to grow from her experiences on the real world, which i think it´s the whole point.
Max makes a little less sense. He´s more real but at the same time he kind of afford himself to indulge on fantasies and delusions. I´m not entirely sure what´s the point of the character but i do like that he is flawed.
The ghoul is pretty neat too. The embodiment of the survivor logic though if i am absolutely honest he´s probably there because they knew they needed to recreate the man in black from Westworld. If worse came to worst that would be the one thing that could carry the show into a second season.
It's not bad. But there is unnecessary ESG shit in it and those moments will make your eyes roll. the show would be much better without the ESG, but we live in 2000+24 A.D. so what can you expect
i picked the wrong torrent and it's so dark i can't enjoy it and I have no GB left till next month reeeeeeeee
fukin third worlders and their bad tv settings
yeah its good, captures the spirit of the fallout series well
arguably the usual "put a Black person chick in it and make her gay and lame" is a problem, but its 2024 and youre not gonna see an AAA production without it
Reddit slop that needs to be cancelled
Exblain, woke?

Only watched 2 but yes, it's worth a watch. By contrast to the Halo TV show, it feels like the writers actually played the games
>played the games
that would explain why the writing is shit & the director has ADHD
>it feels like the writers actually played the games
Only 3, 4 and 76.
i only watched one episode, but the wild west ghoul is clearly inspired by new vegas
even uses different ammo types
plenty of references to 2 as well
It feels more like 2 than anything tbqh
It's got the plot of mixed with the aesthetics of 1, 2 and new Vegas.
It's no capital wasteland, there's actual greenery and civilisation
*plot of 3
Yes unless you have sever autism, the target audience is mild autism
You'll like it if you're a reddit homosexual cuck
its woke so no
I love movie/shows that filter/tv/
That's when you know it's good

if so, this show is for you.
It's good. Better if you played the games.
just fricking watch it yourself and form your own opinion
Yea, moron just let me watch all the fricking movies and shows I might consider and actually spend 399999999 hours finding out that the majority of them are hot garbage instead of shortcutting it by asking others.
moron.
here's a wild idea, watch 20 minutes of episode 1 first without feeling the need to autistically commit to the full 10 hours
Oh yea 20 minutes really gives you a great overview over a 10 HOUR show. moron.

^exhibit A
pilots are almost never representative of the finished product
That shill just want you to click on the watch button so he get paid
I’m only on episode two, but so far it has Walton Goggins, and the vault dweller girl fricks her cousin.
It's decent. Worse if you played the games.
homosexuals hated it for whatever reason
you sure its not the reverse
Visually, you'd never think they are in a wasteland.
agreed

Looks like a Tuesday afternoon in Detroit
too clean to be detroit
Full of plot holes. Black person has plot armor. Fricked the timeline. Not worth it.
The only thing that bothers me is that Niggimus was chosen to be squire just because the trans gay got it’s foot cut.
I'll give it to you quick and dirty bb 😉

No one cares gay shill
Even most of the lore nerds aren't autistic enough to obsess over a date on a chalk board and the exact location of Shady Sands
What do you mean?
it's a pretty egregious oversight to retcon entire games and delete/revive whole factions
There are 24 threads up right now (I know because I’ve filtered them all). Why did you need a 25th?
How old are you? If you're younger than 30-28 then you grew up with shitty movies all around so you should be able to stomach it.
I'm nearing 40 and played Fallout in 98 and the show was awesome.
>i was always a fan of X and nuX is awesome
Where I've heard this shit before?
Watched the entire thing in 2 hours by doing 10 seconds skips constantly until I got to an interesting part. Wish I had those 2 hours back
By the answers ITT, some of you are straight up bullshiting or shilling. What is it?
Huh?
Did I stutter

The only positive part about this statement that the show is still HIV positive
Like not getting hit once by a minigun from 15 feet away under no cover?
if you have to ask you are probably dumb enough to enjoy it

yes
It's pretty good but the "reveal"/retcon (Vault Tec dropped the bombs because wiping out humanity = profit somehow) was moronic
