Maybe you're right, but I remember the overall onions meme itself and the word basedboy came from /misc/, I remember the first threads with the articles about the link between onions and estrogen and I remember people saying to eat onions instead because they boost testosterone or some shit (hence the wordfilter)
So they lit themselves on fire and started making it everyones else problem, sounds schizo.. but it does seem like something that would've been fun to see them in action, whata miss.. looking at /qa/ and thus cannot find any.
