Im convinced that execs across HW saw the writing on the wall regarding the strikes years ago. That they have been making sure the media cycle is as bad as they can possibly make it by intentionally hiring the shittiest, ESG-driven actors and writers in order to sour public opinion on the strikers before they've even begun. And it worked, for me at least. I'm not implying it'll all get better post-strike, just that Hollywood is finally going supernova.
