I've seen way worse religious cartoons, and this one actually doesn't seem up it's own ass about it - might be a consequence of including 4 religions, so they can't spend the entire episode proselytizing.

Especially for a religious themed cartoon. The bar for that was VERY low. I mean you had some anime bible stories back in the 80s that were kind of good but ever since then it's been all down hell.

How does this work exactly? They believe their God is the true God but they believe in different Gods
Does this even classify as religious? The characters follow their own religions, but they don't seem to be pushing an agenda other than interfaith since they're all nice to each other. I was expecting some scriptures and raving about God, but instead got fighting scenes and culture jokes. Which is oddly enough a breath of fresh air, they didn't go too edgy which has become boring but they also made the muslim guy throw a falafel bomb which was funny.
The pacing is kind of weird and there are scenes where background characters are low quality, but it's in no way the worst cartoon.
The characters aren't challenging each other's beliefs and I doubt the creator wants to delve into that side, seeing as they all follow a dog commander who's in heaven and named Dogma.
The message seems to be "these people can hang out and do normal cartoon stuff like kick reptilian ass, despite believing in different things"
And for clarification, israelites Muslims and Christians believe in the same God. Christians who speak Arabic refer to their god as Allah as it's simply the word for "God".
There are some sects of Hinduism who are Henotheistic(worship of one god, though the existence of other gods is acknowledged) or completely monotheistic
