Junior is going full Goku. Atomic breath, atomic defensive fields, atomic punches, atomic explosive pulses, atomic boost and he can go Super Saiyan... I mean, White Burning Godzilla at will (and not explode). He is also much faster and a better melee fighter than his dad, not to mention he's resistant as frick - he just tanks hits which would make the previous Goji bleed.
They took feats of strength from nearly every version of Godzilla and put them all into Junior. If he gets busy and starts shooting hoops, then the cycle will be complete.
At the same time I can't help but feel like this is also somewhat parodying Legendary Goji being invincible, even down to using Burning as an Invincibility Star power-up
May be bigger than Shin for the following reasons. First being it will be shown both regular and on Imax (Not even Shin was on Imax here in the states and if so was very rare). Two is nothing will be out stateside due to the Hollywood Strikes going on and seeing Decembers lineup, the only movie of note is Wonka and Aquaman.
Not only that but both those films in question will not be in theaters until during or after Christmas. Meaning on paper Godzilla Minus One basically has no real competition for 24 days. Except maybe the Marvels, however that film is destined to a borderline flop at worst and a box office disappointment at best. The fact the director dropped the film entirely from their memo speaks volumes.
