I posted last week that the OScar nominees are going to be Heron, Elemental, Spiderverse and Mario, wasn't sure about the last one, now I know it is going to be either Suzume or Wish.
Haven't taken award shows like this seriously since a Robot Chicken episode won over objectively better content.
Where's any reason to actually give a frick about this kind of paid out ego boosts where they don't even celebrate the animators and instead just the least influential parts.
Please let Wish win it would be the funniest thing imaginable
Since Hollywood judges a movie not by its merits, but how "important" it is to progressive messaging, Elemental or Wish is going to win.

Mario at least has box office success that might justify it getting recognition but Wish got panned and is bombing.
I'm glad Nimona didn't get nominated but surprised nothing else from Netflix did.
