Why does Cinemaphile sleep on this movie? It's all white people and has good action and a cute nordic-looking potato MC.

Why did Eric Bana stop making kinos? Did he just give up? It's not like anything he's done was a big flop
maybe he ran outta juice
Bana is kind of like Aaron Eckhart. At one point it seemed they were aimed to become stars, but then the floor kind of just dropped from under them and they've both been doing unremarkable stuff since then.
He was everywhere up to a decade ago and then completely disappeared, I can't think of even any b-grade movies he's done since then
>None of his movies during his push was truly profitable
Many such cases. At least in his case he has some ounce of talent in him, so you might actually feel bad about it.
He’s too similar to Hugh Jackman who takes all his roles.
It's always weird in these films when the boss personally goes after the person who's killed their goons all movie. One of those films I actually wanted more action and less allegories. Fun though, I'll rewatch.
It's one of my favorite movies and I actually rewatched it a day ago and Saoirse is so beautiful it made me cry.
My main issue is that the bad guys are so goofy it's hard to get immersed in the thriller aspect of the movie. So for me what makes it enjoyable is Saoirse and her wonderful performance and the coming of age aspect of the film and the beautiful cinematography and sets and the unique Chemical Bros score. The start of the movie is especially nice.
yeah she is very pleasant to look at.
also the action such that it is isn't that bad.
Based Chemical Bros appreciators. For me, it's Star Guitar.
Yeah, Tom Holkand's character is well done but very off putting. Totally fricked up that nice family who Saoirse stows away with gets tortured and killed by him just by associating with Saoirse. But Saoirse, Bana, and Cate were all awesome, Joe Wright did his then- usual good job.
This is top tier kino. The OST by chemical brothers, as the zoomers would say, totally slaps.
Also Sersh performed a lot of the stunts herself.
i'd like to perform a stunt with her if you know what i'm saying
People used to talk about it a lot in relation to sersh, but nobody has cared about her since, idk, just after Grand Budapest came out. People generally liked that movie, but she sorta faded out of relevance after that. Idk, she used to get just as many threads as bella thorne and chloe grace moretz; who were contemporary waifu fodder, but she went out of vogue along with them even though unlike them she kept staring in decent movies.
She was my first Cinemaphile waifu and I watched all her movies but the weight gain for Brooklyn broke me as it made her lose that ethereal quality. She looks good now again but the movies she choses now are not as interesting as the ones from the start of her career.
>weight gain for Brooklyn
Anon, she wasn't even chubby, you act like she went Full Brando
See How They Run was NOT trash. I don't know what's going on with her roles tho- was she even approached to play Irulan? Is she getting snubbed or does she just turn down everything that isn't a period piece?
>Anon, she wasn't even chubby, you act like she went Full Brando
To start off I have to admit that my views are not conventional.
But to me Saoirse pre-weight gain was one of the most beautiful women ever. So overwhelming that I even cried. As meaningless as that term is now from overuse "angelic" is still the best way to describe her. She just looked unreal. But then the weight gain made her look ordinary. Like a housewife or something. Obviously still attractive but guys have such low standards that it doesn't mean anything. The loss of such once-in-a-lifetime beauty and the indifference from others made me sad.
But I've seen her in Little Women and luckily she looked ethereal again.
I'm also glad she's slimmed down BUT mostly in the face, because it brought out the beautiful angles there. I'm glad she's got some hippa and boota action going on. Now she just needs to get some good roles again, like an all-female remake of 'Ronin' where she plays Deirdre.
i would still wife the frick out of chubby butterball Sersh
> So overwhelming that I even cried
Pansy
>nobody has cared about her since, idk, just after Grand Budapest came out.
Lol. Brooklyn, Lady Bird, Little Women.
Nta, but Little Women was 5 years ago, and she was already a "former child actor struggling to find roles in the adult world" by then. Since that movie, she only played in trash, and even that - barely.
Which is a big fricking shame.
My point was that anon said no one cared about Saoirse after Grand Budapest (2014). The films I posted she made between 2015 and 2019, including Best Actress noms. She didn't fade after GBH, in fact she got more recognition.
... and then faded out anyway, so what's the difference? That she extended her fading career as a child actress by 5 years? The end result is the same - she's out, her movies past LW are trash and few and far between
delusional hater
>If you miss the fact a good actress had a career and now is barely employed, you are a hater
Ok, schizo
Frick off
I miss 2015 sersh. I’ve never been as interested since she dropped the weight
if you liked 2015 Sersh good news for you you should be able to find a woman like that in real life. An actress should look exceptional though.
we got ourselves a STUFFT POTATO man here, everyone!
Cute! Never seen that pic before
“Frick off” was directed toward
, my mistake
Saw this in the theater with my higschool gf
The soundtrack is so fricking good
>Eric Bana
I will watch your kino
Chopper was great
Movie started strong but really fell off in middle and didn't recover that well by the end.
Movie VS TV series ?
no Sersh no watch
these is no nordic look, you either look scandinvian (beautiful european features) or a block headed finn with small slit eyes
i thought she was Irish.
she is
she is adorbs
lovely potato specimen
I miss the cozy Sershposting.
loved that movie
>awkwardly hold his arm out after being blocked
>slices his throat, no blood, no cut whatsoever
lazy
I'ts ok but it felt like a pilot for a series
Pretty bizarre "it's all white people" is even a thing you'd use as a reason to watch a movie. We have gone back 130 years as a society
isn't she a lesbo?
My hot potato
Kino film and kino OST. Truly a cult masterpiece.
I've never seen 'The Dogs of War' mentioned on here, it's pretty sweet.
I love that movie.
I only know about it because Chemical Brothers did the soundtrack
>it's good because it has white people
why are you even pretending to like movies?
What sets this apart from generic Luc Besson flick #5964? Yes I know it's a different director
