How much money has Sony burnt trying to make R&C their Sonic?
I don't think it's Sony, I think it's Insomniac using R&C as a money-printing machine for when a project (like Sunset Overdrive) fails. However, they seem to be shifting towards doing Marvel stuff now since Spiderman was a hit, but I imagine there's a lot of licensing stuff that goes behind it. R&C will always be safely tucked away in the vault for when they need an emergency money-making project that they can leisurely work on.
I mean, Rift Apart is seeing a new surge in sales because of the re-release. Frick, just re-release other R&C games on Steam and that'll be an easy way to keep making easy money off this property. And then maybe we'll finally get a TV series. Too bad Jim Ward can never come back.

It didn't bomb it just didn't have as much sales as the other playstation ports and apparently none of them went crazy with sales during their launch week.
It's having a few performance issues. I think people are waiting for a couple of patches.

I always found it funny how they kept making Ratchet tamer and tamer as the series went on. in earlier games he was a punk that gave attitude and then in recent games they disneyfied him so much he's constantly saying please and thank you.
