To be fair, the lead writer having brain cancer wasn't helping things. But, yeah. Destiny was a mess. Cross Ange was really trashy fun though. Hopefully he brings some of that energy to Grendizer.
Oh Morosawa didn’t have brain cancer. She had an ovarian cyst that was taken out during the end of Seed’s run which required constant check backs with the doctor or something along those lines. Idk where the brain cancer thing came from, but that’s not what she had and it’s not even what she died of. Most of the faults in Destiny’s writing comedown to Morosawa handing in scripts super late and seemingly changing the story on a whim at random

But I haven’t been able to confirm if that was legit though. Her Japanese Wikipedia sites it and it’s been passed around for years but the blog post has long been deleted
from what i've seen from the materials and the storyboards, all i can say is that it doesn't look cheap and they seem to be putting lots of love on the work, hope the production goes well and they can deliver something that the fans will enjoy
