Growing up, they never aired the original courage short film with the chicken from outer space on tv so whenever the character turned up on the actual tv show I always got him and his three headed son confused with “the duck brothers” and I would always wonder why he hated courage so much because the duck brothers episode ended with then making friends. I don’t like when tv shows reference stuff from outside the actual show which you wouldn’t expect people to even know about.

It would air sporadically on The What a Cartoon Show, so it was hard to catch but not impossible, especially really early into Courage’s run.

I somehow managed to catch this on it's first run and though it was really cool how later on in the show he returns as a cooked turkey lmfao.

I was born in 96 first of all. Second of all I probably wasn’t as addicted to television as you clearly are. I saw Sons of the Chicken from Outer Space and I was confused as heck why the Duck Brothers son hated courage all of a sudden.

        >Growing up, they never aired the original courage short film with the chicken from outer space on tv
        They did several times

        >Well actually I was young and uh you just watch too much TV
There's no need to be a defensive homosexual dude, just say "Oh I must have missed it". Seriously.

But the episode isn’t part of the actual show. How would a kid watch every single show to find an obscure pilot for it that was never part of the show itself?

Because they aired it on TV sometimes, and if you were watching TV you might just catch it by accident. I have a particular memory of catching it when I was sick as shit and thinking I must be hallucinating because of how different the animation quality was lmao.

Many kids didn't do that and still caught it. Also, What A Cartoon Show isn't obscure. Get your head out of your ass.

You’re talking to a moronic Zoomer. Zoomers have huge egos and can’t imagine that kids saw What a Cartoon. Even though plenty did.

I bet Jon Kolner doesn’t even realize that the Powerpuff Girls premiered on there.

I was born in 97 and saw it more than a couple of times as a kid. Granted, as you put it, I was much more "addicted to TV."
I probably shouldn't even put that in quotes...

I was born after it premiered, and I specifically remember it airing as part of the regular show.

I think I saw it on TV, I know I saw it on his website, he had a cool website I wonder if it's still up.

I think I only ever saw it as an extra feature on the VHS of one of the Scooby-Doo movies

I was actually traumatized by Eustace' transformation into an evil chicken as a kid.

Then the actual show topped it with the island of Dr Katz.

Klub Katz is low key the best Island of Dr Moreau adaptation in media and 1,000 years of courage is the best adaptation of the Time Machine.
