I imagine it's not particularly hard to find hotels in Brazil, so that's just being an elitist >Oh boo hoo, we don't have a 5 star resort to stay out >Trips cancelled!
They literally say in the episode that mardi gras is going on and all the hotels are booked even the shitty ones. That's why Pim even suggested an expensive hotel because he figured there'd at least be a room or two available somewhere since they cost so much. Did you even watch the episode you're complaining about?
by the sounds of it they probably got a mid-tier hotel but it was in a safe place
they recognize brazil is a dangerous place, the first guy they met was asking for money and they felt like he was gonna hit them
getting anything in their pay range would be difficult since it was mardi gras
>Why do people even watch AS if they get filtered over a simple anti-humor gimmick? It was funny
It feels more like a joke at the viewer's expense. Like, it'd be funny if you didn't like Smiling Friends saw everyone seethe about it
Anti humor can be funny, but this wasnt, it was just boring. Anti humor is good in small bursts, if it goes on for too long it becomes actual humor, the illusion fades and you realize “oh this sucks fricking ass, and am not watching some funny avant garde new age modern whatever crap, this is just genuinely unfunny crap”.
Seeing that it was only 11 minutes and when Pim said that he didnt book a hotel room, I knew exactly what was going to happen and am surprised that Cinemaphile did not expect the same thing but just fell for it

Cinemaphile is the most gullible board on the entire site
I find cringy how they are trying their "best" not to be too "racist" so they don't get in trouble with CN, if you watched Oneyplays for a while you might have noticed that there was a period of time where the commentaries were almost nothing but black jokes and jokes about israelites and their dicks
He definitely fricked up but they all organized the trip stupidly. They're all guilty of not checking with the others to make sure all the steps were done.
100% no, the others should have given him money to book a hotel. They didn't, they didn't confirm about the hotel when they most likely confirmed about the plane tickets. This is classic bad friends trying to shift blame.
Cinemaphile acts this way about everything. It's not seething, it's a bunch of attention-starved malcontents trying to get (you)s by jumping on the bandwagon.
>Pim floats the idea that they ask him to cover their hotel and pass it off as a business expense, which is honestly a pretty solid plan given how the Boss is a nice guy and how Smiling Friends is apparently a multi-billion dollar franchise anyway >they call him >Pim doesn't have the guts to ask him and nothing happens
This episode, late April Fools nature aside, I think kind of refutes Zach’s belief that AI story telling is on the horizon of making real writers obsolete. It’s made up entirely of human experiences that a computer can’t replicate because they’re specific to individuals. That bit where the shifty guy gets in their space is so real, we’ve all been in a scenario like it, but the way it’s crafted is so subtle an algorithm would never know what to do with it.
Look at all the people in these threads saying how good the episode was because it was "relatable." all AI will have to do is crowdsource enough relatable shit from social media and boom there's your script.

This assumes that AI that will progress at the same rate it currently is forever which is silly
some of you kiddies wouldn't handle the Space Ghost episode where he slowly follows an ant for 20 minutes. or the Wonder showzen episode about patience.
This episode was just painfully relatable, I'm actually impressed with how realistic the scenario is.
My family had a new car and we were going on holiday somewhere and my dad accidentally filled the tank with diesel while we were already late for our flight. Out of pure chance we managed to make the flight because a random guy knew how to get the diesel out of the tank.
Had a bunch of other stressful situations involving flights too.
>want to get in on the seethe >HBOmax is such a garbage service with a comedically archaic and hostile account creation system it's easier to just torrent than actually get back into my cable package provided HBO subscription.
What is it with the CN app, adult swim website, and HBO being the most bushleague of streaming platforms. It's like they want me to use kimcartoon and piratebay for consoooming content. At least there I can still see shake get bitten by a radioactive black man.
They didn't pay for the fries
Second uf they didn't have a hotel why not just spend the day in Brazil then go back to the airport and buy the ticket
I'm sure it was some kind of refund and paying the difference. Still could have at least walked around for a day.
I imagine it's not particularly hard to find hotels in Brazil, so that's just being an elitist
>Oh boo hoo, we don't have a 5 star resort to stay out
>Trips cancelled!
Probably just go to a hotel, and ask if anyone cancelled.
If somebody did cancelled or not show up, just get their room. Odds are at least one hotel woll have a room.
Why would you want to rent a room at a run down cheap motel? In Brazil of all places?
For the adventure
For the fun episode.

But there's no mardi gras in brazil
it's carnival dude they love that shit down there
She's a cutie, where's she from?
I assume that's part of the joke.
Mardi Gras is during Carnival.
by the sounds of it they probably got a mid-tier hotel but it was in a safe place
they recognize brazil is a dangerous place, the first guy they met was asking for money and they felt like he was gonna hit them
getting anything in their pay range would be difficult since it was mardi gras
Did you not watch the episode moron?
They didn't want to carry their luggage around with them all day.
maybe the fries were free with the water
This but unironically. Don't advertise 10 minutes of Zach and co adlibbing and call it an episode.
Why do people even watch AS if they get filtered over a simple anti-humor gimmick? It was funny.
>Why do people even watch AS if they get filtered over a simple anti-humor gimmick? It was funny

yes thats the joke

This. I was expecting something like this to begin with.
>propping up "anti-humor" in a show meant to be humorous
Do you not know how ridiculous you sound?
but it was humorous
Are people really seething about this?
Seeing that it was only 11 minutes and when Pim said that he didnt book a hotel room, I knew exactly what was going to happen and am surprised that Cinemaphile did not expect the same thing but just fell for it
Cinemaphile is the most gullible board on the entire site
Imagine liking smiling friends
I don't need to
Your mom is a prostitute
What a rip
admittedly it was supposed to be an april fools episode
I find cringy how they are trying their "best" not to be too "racist" so they don't get in trouble with CN, if you watched Oneyplays for a while you might have noticed that there was a period of time where the commentaries were almost nothing but black jokes and jokes about israelites and their dicks
meds.
???
all i know is they like to say homosexual a lot
Honestly I thought that zach's rant about "the inferior races" on oneyplays went a little too far
The way he always goes into a rant whenever someone calls him israeli is pretty concerning now that we have that context
This is the Seinfeld Finale of the modern era
What happen?
the episode description was a lie.

Are you a tourist?
Was he really in the wrong?
should have double checked the hotel before getting on the plane.
I felt kinda bad for him
He should have double checked or asked around the office before they left for the airport
i wanna frick his pink pussy
They were all in the wrong, when you do this shit you double triple check everything.
This, I like that their feelings shofted from "This is Pim's fault" to "We all had a hand in this because we didn't plan."
Half so.
He should have done his job and booked the hotel. Messing up isn’t an excuse.
However, the others should have confirmed with Pim that he booked the hotel several times before leaving.
Would just have yelled at Charlie and punch him in the face, if I was him.
he's just a lil guy who dindu nuffin
He didn't book the room
Alan informing him over text message was pretty foolish.
He definitely fricked up but they all organized the trip stupidly. They're all guilty of not checking with the others to make sure all the steps were done.
>one guy to book the plane tickets and hotel
what was everyone else doing?
>everyone assumes everyone else is 'dealing with it'
Real shit
100% no, the others should have given him money to book a hotel. They didn't, they didn't confirm about the hotel when they most likely confirmed about the plane tickets. This is classic bad friends trying to shift blame.
Not even a little.
Dude, if you don't realize Alan was supposed to have booked the hotel, you've lost the plot.
i liked it. i thought it was funny
The episode wasn't funny but the spergs on Cinemaphile seething about it is fricking hilarious
>but the spergs on Cinemaphile seething about it is fricking hilarious
Lmao yeah it's funnier than the actual episode
Knowing zack that was probably his intention.
I don't see anyone really sperging mostly just anons calling it like it is.
I think he means people seething that we simply did not find it that funny.
I liked the part with the threatening brazillian local
Where's the sperging and seething? So far it's been people just saying it was boring and unfunny in the bluntest way possible.
The fact that I'm seeing multiple of this same thread at the same time.
Cinemaphile acts this way about everything. It's not seething, it's a bunch of attention-starved malcontents trying to get (you)s by jumping on the bandwagon.
You dopes can't discern any emotions between joy and seething. Most people felt nothing and even more don't watch cartoons.
Which fricked up brazilian video do you think Charlie was talking about? For me it's the prision riots.
if that cartel execution video I watched happened in brazil i would guess that one. Hard to tell the difference between the two
I like how they called Boss asking him for money without really asking him, and he refused without explicitly refusing
felt very real
Unfiltered kino episode.
>The phonecall to Mr. Boss where they all ask him for help and he's just quiet and obviously can't help
Felt too real.
That's what I liked about the episode. The situation they were in felt painfully real
>Pim floats the idea that they ask him to cover their hotel and pass it off as a business expense, which is honestly a pretty solid plan given how the Boss is a nice guy and how Smiling Friends is apparently a multi-billion dollar franchise anyway
>they call him
>Pim doesn't have the guts to ask him and nothing happens
Probably the funniest part of the episode
I like how they all gave him the stink eye when he told Mr. Boss 'we' instead of just him.
It was all of their fault though.
The best thing about this episode is how deeply it's being discussed on Cinemaphile

it already has fool
it already has anon, have you not seen those AI-generated greentexts?
the episode feels like it was written by an AI
Link please I stopped paying for HBO after like Season 4 of GoT.
some of you kiddies wouldn't handle the Space Ghost episode where he slowly follows an ant for 20 minutes. or the Wonder showzen episode about patience.
This literally falls under false advertising.
Sue Adult Swim then, and tell us how it goes
fricking based anon right here. Thats exactly what this is and its fricking amazing.
Nah I'm pretty sure I was in the Cinemaphile thread when that aired and anons weren't having it at all
But that part in Fire Ant lead to a punchline, the joke wasnt “we wasted your time” the time wasting was part of the set up.
Sounds like someone didn't see the plane about to crash into that mountain.
none of what they did at the airport built up to that
Contrarian are NPCs

Is your dad Bushworld Rick?
Is there a Mega I can use to watch the video?
There was one.
why did the plane do a 9/11 at the end

lol, that makes it even funnier. You rick and morty homies need to get the rope.
