The only difference between the s1,s2, and s3 designs were the eyes I honestly think s3's eyes fit gumball's personality of being a likable jackass. And even then s3 eyes go back to their s2 eyes in some occasions if you like s2 designs that is. This, Lots of people like this show because its one of the last shows that is somewhat episodic even tho there some continuation here and there and a bit of lore/plot. but still its mostly episodic just pure fun and chaos throughout its entire run unless s7 or the movie will be released but its uncertain at the moment.

For me, it's Season 2. It had the best character designs, beautiful lighting that gave off a nostalgic summer feeling, the best balance of heartfelt moments with wacky cartoon humor and memes, and honestly I would consider half the episodes to be in the greatest of the entire series
