I guess I just wanna know how much of a soft reboot it is , do they not make an appearance? It would be cool to actually see the state the Federation is in by that point

they spend the majority of the show getting their shit pushed in by Zanscare. they help Uso and crew a couple of times and the obligatory Bright stand-in is alright
It's an interesting show and setting. It also has the best fights in the series. Mobile suit design for both factions are top notch. A highlight being that LM steals an enemy grunt mobile suit and use if for as long as they could until it was lost. Which is something that zeta was missing.

The Federation let the colonies have their own sovereignty and they preceded to kill each other with it with the EF having to come up with a legitimate reason to intervene in their affairs.
>low TV ratings >Still got a video game >low toy sales >Still managed to get 51 episodes more than any other Gundam show >is usually obscure by normies >Still managed to get into SRW 30
how did Victory do it?
I didn't watch too much of it, but I really liked what I saw. I'm gonna finish it eventually, just gotta find time for it.
I thought Victory got into SRW30 because Victory hadn't been seen in a good while, like F91 in X, or T. I forget which one.
It'd take G-Reco or especially AGE appearing again to truly shock me.
I will never understand the hate for it as it's probably the best UC show besides the original and has better pacing than Zeta. Did it all started because of what Tomino said? Tomino is crazy.
I don't recall the Amelia parts that well, to be honest (been some years), but that train station they take cover in in the early episodes does outright say Prague.
Enjoyed it for the first half when the fights were creative and both sides were shown to be morally grey, but it kind of just implodes in on itself in the last third.
No
Which of you is standing up to the Victory?
Yeah.
Kinda.
I loved it.
Yes, but like any Torino show, some parts are just boring.
Yes plz don't override, reboot is fine
yep, it's my fav Gundam
I often rewatch the last episodes, never felt such emotions
Haven't seen it yet , do they ever show up/ mention the Federation ?
They're sort of there but already on their last legs

They’re very very tired. They guerrillas we follow as a POV but them a lot of time to get their shit together
Anytime you see a Jamesgun or two that's the Federation lending a hand.

Would love a Hathaway style film / series to show the move to Colonies getting independence
Probably the best portrayal of the Federation.
My favourite portrayal of the federation is f91
I love Victory Gundam and the Victory is my tied favourite gundam design with the f91
It was kinda boring until V2 showed up
it's my favorite UC entry

I wish the story was better, it was tough to get through. The MS design was pretty good, with the exception of some oddballs.
I loved Victory Gundam when I was initially watching it but now I literally can't remember anything that happened other than the fantastic ending.
It’s the best, beats the rest!
I don't know, I never watched it
i thought it was fun

I love it and it's my favourite Gundam entry hands down, don't care what anyone says this shit right here is peak UC.
Uso is my favourite gundam protag too
What’s with tomino and space Bavaria ?
More Bohemia than Bavaria in Victory, what with it being in Prague for a chunk. It's a nice region.
I originally wrote space Prague but I thought Amelia was too wooded for that
I don't recall the Amelia parts that well, to be honest (been some years), but that train station they take cover in in the early episodes does outright say Prague.
Where is Marbet.
It's my least favorite gundam show. I kept expecting it to get interesting at some point but it never did.
Pros:
Shrike Team deaths are unforgettable
The OST is great
Usso's mother death is heart breaking
The Ship's suicide scene
The ending
Cons:
slow pace
too many characters, very little development
Usso is both ugly and unlikable
Shakti is a b***h
At least 3 of those Cons are borderline lies.
Which ones?
Enjoyed it for the first half when the fights were creative and both sides were shown to be morally grey, but it kind of just implodes in on itself in the last third.
Angel Halo is one of the best set piece for climactic battle in gundam show, just behind a baoa qu from 0079.
