Why DOES Bandai let Gundam games suffer so much exactly? They have how many other successful devs aside from well from soft yet they don’t bother.
Games produced by bandai bamco seem to be doomed to failure cause execs in charge do not care about customer/consumer feedback. Comparing the recent armored core game to gundam games like the OP thumbnail is doing is dumb because bamco is only the distributor, Fromsoft developed the game with something called "effort" and "love" which bamco seems to not understand
I think there big problem is games are a big hit, keep making them, thats why every jump game is an arena fighter, even if one or two flop the other 50 did well so they don't stop making them, the other thing they do is follow trends, hero shooter battle royal etc, and keep failing. Tekken 8 feels like they heard people complaining about fighters lacking single player content and told the devs to do what street fighter 6 did, way to late in development
The arcade games seem to be doing just fine

I'm a regular viewer of his and I've been waiting for him to tear into it since it aired. More of a Doomwiener guy, but he's still entertaining. I say this as someone that liked most of the Phase 4 movies and Ant-Man 3 (never seen a Tom Holland Spider-Man movie and I have zero intent to).

The last trailer had a few maxed out threads. I don't think there's a lack of excitement. Even if I think people are more interested in what a shitshow it'll potentially be than anything else.
First trailer basically broke the board, mainly because it came out of fricking nowhere. It was actually pretty funny cause the trailer got something like 6 maxed out threads while the sole WFM thread (for the final episode no less) took half the day to hit the bump limit. Even after that for the next day or so it was purely Freedom threads. The second one got a lot of attention too but it was mainly focused on the lips more than anything else kek

WFM's ending played it too safe. There was no big shit-hit-the-fan moment, no beloved characters got Tomino'd, and the whole conflict got literally handwaved away. Honestly i was expecting to see people b***hing about it like they did with the FLAWLESS VICTORY threads for Destiny. i think the main difference there is that Suletta just doesn't have as large a group of dedicated haters like Kira does.
