It's kinda weird, since technically Loup is Ysengrin souped up on coyote powers, but we have also seen the old Ysengrin trapped inside him, as a separate personality.
This is the first time in ages where Tom is actually delivering on something he set up earlier in the comic instead of just dropping it like half the rest of the plot threads
>delivering on something he set up earlier
What about tooth dagger? And about "you understand and die because of this"?
Oh it's even better than that. Lana's not a human, she's a robot. Coyote tricked militant ultra hippie Ysengrin into falling in love with literal technology.
It's almost like everyone who remembered the dead goose story (aka literally everyone because people keep bringing it up) knew this was going to happen sooner or later.
I really was expecting the tooth to separate them eventually. I guess it's on brand for Coyote to just do whatever the frick he wants regardless of logic.
>ysen is mad that rey fell in love with a human >coyote busts his balls through some 500iq keikaku plan where now ysen is left holding the bag on his love for a random human
hah. I love this fricking guy. Coyote is the best.
Oh it's even better than that. Lana's not a human, she's a robot. Coyote tricked militant ultra hippie Ysengrin into falling in love with literal technology.
Realistically speaking, Loup is fricking dead, and so is Jerrek. Loup is not Ysengrin in a fancy dress; he was a being comprised of both ysengrin and coyote despite ysengrin's character having more influence and coyote concealing some parts of himself. If you remove a substantial chunk of soul from a being, you get a different one.
What I'm saying is that this not changing jerrek dramatically would be a massive fricking narrative cope on par with the annies merging if not worse. Should be completely gone really
Stuff could be better - Coyote speaks some noncence like "I'm still a dead goose, lol, you aren't prepared", fricks back into Loup, and it affects absolutely nothing.
The only way this could be fixed is by turning this appearance into an automated message. >this bozo actually fell in love with a human girl? >ha! take that, ysengrin! >that's all from me, have fun you two
>Loup never learned what Coyote's plan was
I'm calling this a fakeout, unless Coyote's plan was to make Loup fall in love and Coyote un-Goosed the very instant he realised it
Can't say I saw that coming. I'm the one who expected Loup to start smugly bragging about how love beat Coyote or whatever. I'll go double or nothing and say this probably isn't Coyote fully coming out, just another fun cryptic message and/or taunt.
He was just sort of a less cool Coyote, and the Jerrek identity sucked until he started to date Lana. It felt like Tom didn't do much with either component's previous relationships with Annie, and he wasn't around her enough to build up his own rapport, except for the fake(?) crush.
The guy last thread who said coyote would just come back and make the past 100 pages completely pointless wins.
The point was humilliating Ysengrin by making him fall in love with a human.
He's been in love with Annie for a long time.
More like ...
Ultimate troll ... disaster!
....
Yeah! Take that! Hah!
explain why this make the pachapter "pointless". With words, no meme, no self quotes.
>Prove an absence
No, I think the onus is on you to explain the point.
It proves he can love... He's a Fool Rush In
Okay, I guess it's time to stop readingtthis comic.
RIP Loup I guess
What the actual frick
trickster deities, not even once
Will Loup/Jerrek be intact even after Coyote has errupted from his body? Place your bets now
I think he'll be fine, until Coyote enrages him somehow. Then he'll struggle between deciding to act on his anger or remain as Jerrek.
If he had burst forth from the body like a xenomorph I'd say no, but unless the body is deflated like a balloon in the next part he seems he's safe.
So this was a weird way to make ysengrin human I guess.
Easy peasy
Nope. Tom is a hack AND a butthole now.
If Coyote is removing himself from the equation then “loup” is more or less Ysengrin again. Or at least he should be???
The Jerrek persona was basically just Ysengrin as a teenage boy anyway, he lacks any real Coyote traits
Not necessarily. From what we've seen previously in instances of Coyote and Ysengrin emanating from Loup's mouth, it's a resounding "eh."
Ysengrin wasn't really Ysengrin by the time Coyote made him kill him.
It depends entirely on what Coyote wants to do.
By normal logic, yes, but this is Coyote we're talking about here.
It's kinda weird, since technically Loup is Ysengrin souped up on coyote powers, but we have also seen the old Ysengrin trapped inside him, as a separate personality.
Finally
I feel the same way Annie.
Is the next/joke page just gonna be an entire page of coyote laughing?
I guess he needs reminding that he isn't a dead goose in a bush by a pond.
Or something. Frick I don't know anymore.
Oh wow, the thing anon called last thread... happened. How shocking.
Ah, that's why Kat had to leave! I... understand!
How very convenient!
>You fell in love with a girl? I've come back from the dead to laugh at you!
>I was merely pretending to be dead
Goose status?
Goose is a zombie or something.
Cooked.
Loose.
wild
chased
Oh hi
most normal coyote moment
I told you frickers this was going to happen
Everyone knew this was gonna happen because tom is a fricking hack?
This is the first time in ages where Tom is actually delivering on something he set up earlier in the comic instead of just dropping it like half the rest of the plot threads
>delivering on something he set up earlier
What about tooth dagger? And about "you understand and die because of this"?
I mean this all still totally fits into the 'death' Coyote predicted
Ysengrin about to die of embarrassment
It's almost like everyone who remembered the dead goose story (aka literally everyone because people keep bringing it up) knew this was going to happen sooner or later.
There was a tard or two arguing emphatically that it wasn't going to happen, I remember.
I really was expecting the tooth to separate them eventually. I guess it's on brand for Coyote to just do whatever the frick he wants regardless of logic.
>ysen is mad that rey fell in love with a human
>coyote busts his balls through some 500iq keikaku plan where now ysen is left holding the bag on his love for a random human
hah. I love this fricking guy. Coyote is the best.
He's a scamp
Oh it's even better than that. Lana's not a human, she's a robot. Coyote tricked militant ultra hippie Ysengrin into falling in love with literal technology.
She’s a human robot
Oh my God. If this was all one big long con on cyotote’s part just to make ysengrin feel love for a human or new person in this case…
No, the plan was to do "two dogs in a white woman" with extra steps.
WHY DOES TOM KEEP DOING THIS
HE FINALLY WRITES SOMETHING GOOD
AND THEN JUST SHITS ALL OVER IT
WHAT THE ACTUAL FRICK
Backwards take.
Coyote could at any point have shit out a giant turd wave his magic wand and turn it into Loup.
Stuff could be better - Coyote speaks some noncence like "I'm still a dead goose, lol, you aren't prepared", fricks back into Loup, and it affects absolutely nothing.
The only way this could be fixed is by turning this appearance into an automated message.
>this bozo actually fell in love with a human girl?
>ha! take that, ysengrin!
>that's all from me, have fun you two
She's not human.
Coyote doesn't know that; he's dead!
>Realistically speaking, Loup is fricking dead,
Oh no, how terrible. That is simply the worst thing. Such a loss.
Those 2 Annies are eyefricking each other.
If no one intervenes, soon they'll be frickfricking each other.
Too late.
It's futa. It's ALL futa.
Technically it's only half futa, since only one of them is ever drawn with a dick. Which is how is should be, and based.
Don't worry, like the other anon said they're not both futa. Unless you're not even into futa on female in which case I guess you're just fricked.
>Another existentially horrifying death for a character people liked
First the two Annie's and now Jerrek
How many Tuvix's must be sacrificed?
Nobody liked Jerrek
I liked Loup and his Jerrek persona, both.
Loup is obnoxious but Jerrek and his sexcapades with the sexbot have been great.
That’s just liking anaL though, which I think is most people’s experience
So coyote has just basically left Ysengrin in the shell body of Jerrek, and thus a love triangle between lana, Annie and himself?
Best wingman ever
Ha!
To the surprise of no one.
>Loup never learned what Coyote's plan was
I'm calling this a fakeout, unless Coyote's plan was to make Loup fall in love and Coyote un-Goosed the very instant he realised it
But... Loup didn't die. The knife wasn't used. Why is Coyote here.
He's come out before. He's probably here to dispense cryptic mockery and then frick off again.
The knife was used???? It’s presence here was an essential part of the chain of events. And Annie did just kill him
How?
Read the comic
>The knife was used???? It’s presence here was an essential part of the chain of events. And Annie did just kill him
t. Obi-Wan
Oh Coyote, you piece of shit.
SHANK HIM, ANNIE.
Can't say I saw that coming. I'm the one who expected Loup to start smugly bragging about how love beat Coyote or whatever. I'll go double or nothing and say this probably isn't Coyote fully coming out, just another fun cryptic message and/or taunt.
The ultimate troll master has arrived!
Cute!
Nice work. Didn't think we'd see any new art of this now that we all understand.
This is very old.
If I haven't seen it then it's new to me.
People die if they are killed
I was going to say the same thing.
Without her father is meh to me.
>It has been over five F U C K I N G years
I understand. Thanks, Coyote.
So is Lana gonna be okay with her boyfriend being a grizzled GILF instead of a manic edgelord?
Knot
I'm telling you, we're just copying Beast Machines now.
I keep forgetting that Paz went back to her home planet.
>it's too late for Annie to frick herself in selfcest lust
Why even live
>the last time we saw coyote he said Annie would stab Loup with the tooth and kill him, Loup and Ysengrin
Coyote's not back bros ;_;
No, he said she would pierce his heart.
I guess she technically pierced his heart in this scene
Does it still Neil Gaiman favorite webcomic?
Was Loup a well written character?
He was just sort of a less cool Coyote, and the Jerrek identity sucked until he started to date Lana. It felt like Tom didn't do much with either component's previous relationships with Annie, and he wasn't around her enough to build up his own rapport, except for the fake(?) crush.
Jerrek was a better protagonist than Annie
