>Gotta go fast!
>this body isnt' so bad
he's talkin about her
If you could snatch/possess someone's body, but that someone would die, would you do it?
If one were a paraplegic I could see the temptation
No.
That's like asking 'If you had a gun, would you kill someone for a million dollars?'
>I'm so mad I will have sex with my girl friend Lana so I won't be so mad
Underrated post
Nice! Been a while since he's adopted that form
This codependency is kinda messed up a little bit, but I'm fine with it if it leads to Annie frenching Rey at some point.
>bonus page
>Rey does the muscle form trick again
>Annie says yes while bending over
No!
He needs to be a dog or I'm not shipping it!
it's been a while since he last acted like a horndog too.
When was the last time, anyway? Last I recall is when he met Jack's goth girlfriend
I would say yes and I'm a guy.
>This codependency is kinda messed up a little bit
They're just friends anon
They just agreed to be (platonic?) life partners, eventually afterlife partners when it's Annie's time to be a psychopomp.
Yeah and how is that messed up exactly?
Because Rey physically can't leave her and she doesn't want him to leave.
He doesn’t want to leave her
Aint nothing wrong with mutually desired marriage anon
Like I said it's just a little bit messed up circumstances.
I'm fully on board with Annie-Rey, I'm just worried about how quickly they both made this decision. A good dog marriage needs a good foundation. This is kinda shaky ground!
>This is kinda shaky ground!
They've been together now for years
Don't marry a dog if it was soul bound to you when you were a kid after it tried to kill you and then made sexual advances on you when you were like 12. Big red flags!
If he ain't slapping her around or selling off for sex slavery, then its good.
imagine Annie having one of those autistic nerd wedding with a giant doll instead of a daki
...What if this leads to Rey stealing Loup's robo-human body down the road?
I'm so unsure what the chances of AnnieRey happening are at this point ...
knot
this wouldn't happen if there were 2 annies, one for each dog
True.
>that plan didn't seem to have the desired effect
What desired effect? Why would Renard care? He doesn't complain about his body and he never showed any interest in leaving Annie
This is writing 101 stuff
I don't think Loup was really thinking straight when he came up with his plan.
Loup's an egocentric moron who probably thought that Rey would fly off the handle for having something if his taken because that's what Loup would do. That is to say, act like a total fricking sperg.
You know what you should do, Anon?
Demand a refund.
>it's writing 101 to have every character act perfectly rationally at all times
What a weird thing to say
Good thing that's not what I said.
It's writing 101 to establish stakes. Rey's body being burned means nothing to the audience because he's never been in it, never talked about it, never cared about it in the audience's sight. His reaffirming his attachment to Annie is similarly lame because he's never shown anything but adoration and protective instincts towards her and hasn't expressed any desire to leave or betray her.
These moments would make the big impacts they're attempting if they had been properly set up. If Rey had been constantly searching for his body, or if his body presented a solution to a problem, or if Loup had made him choose between Annie and his body
Instead we got Loup throwing a tantrum totally unrelated to what's going on and the audience rightly going "...so?"
How is Loup's tantrum unrelated to this?
It's about as related as it can get.
What does burning Rey's body have to do with literally anything?
He started his tantrum because of an ill-advised attempt to catch him, but burning Rey's body had no relation to trying to capture Loup. The majority of this chapter has been utterly pointless.
>rey "tricks" loup into an ambush
>loup retaliates by unearthing Rey's body and destroying it
Do you have some kind of brain damage or something, this is an extremely simple chain of events
>What the frick is conflation
Arguing with 12 year olds is fun
>Loup retaliates by (thing that has nothing to do with the attempt to catch him and in no way hinders the party)
I'm sorry what the frick do you mean? Rey crossed Loup so Loup broke something that was dear to Rey.
I genuinely don't understand how you're having trouble with this.
>Loup broke something that was dear to Rey
Oh no, it's moronic
Are you being serious right now? Is this genuine or are you just doing a bit
Uhhh...
No, he didn't.
You kinda missed the entire point of the chapter.
Now I get why you're so upset I guess! 😀
Loup isn't mad about the snare, he's mad that Annie likes Rey.
>Loup isn't mad about them trying to catch him
He demonstrably is, but moving on:
>He's upset Annie likes Rey
Ok? What does that have to do with burning his body? What does that have to do with the fact that there has been zero work done to establish any stakes for the destruction of his body? Are you capable of keeping more than one paragraph in your head at one time?
So your problem is what, you think it's weird that Rey had an emotional connection to his real physical body?
>He demonstrably is
No, he quite clearly isn't. He took part in the whole stupid trap. It didn't matter to him in the slightest.
He was buttmad that Rey said he isn't taking it seriously, which, in turn, made him believe Rey wasn't taking Loup seriously.
Loup is just extremely jealous of Rey and wanted to harm him for no other reason than to inflict harm and instill fear.
That's why he destroyed his body.
That's it.
How do you not get this?
>Ooh I hate that Rey for being close to Annie!
>I will punish him by destroying this thing he is not using, hasn't shown any concern for, and didn't know still existed!
>That will surely drive a wedge between the because... Because!
Loup, stop shit posting on Cinemaphile
>That will surely drive a wedge between the because... Because!
He clearly didn't plan to drive a wedge between them, on account of how fundamentally he failed at that.
He was just lashing out.
Also, stop. Just stop with the 'why should he care about his body' thing. It just makes you look like a complete psychopath.
>He clearly didn't plan to drive a wedge between them
That's the implication of the comment text. Way to read between the lines.
>Your reasoned arguments about why stakes need to be established for a moment to have any impact make you look like a psychopath!
I don't think you know what psychopathy is.
>Good thing that's not what I said
Nah I'm pretty sure I summed up what you said perfectly
Then you might be moronic
Just accept Lana and stop being a pussy
I swear all webcomic artists need to take a writng class.
what a blank castrated statement.
If you like to swallow shit with a smile thats your own problem.
>Can't back up blind statemement
>just send more blank impotent rage
>larp a dozen time to drown the failure with more stinky failure
what the frick happened to your life?
>He thinks he's talking to one person
Always funny.
I love our eternally confused pet lolcow honestly, he's trying really hard to understand things but the brain just isn't there. It's ok little lolcow, you're trying your best!
I wonder how many weeks in a row anons will have to explain to the amnesiac fangirls how basic scriptwriting works before they get it
Does dog penis cause brain damage?
>there needs to be a whole chapter dedicated to Reynard trying to find his body otherwise the audience won't understand that he's got an attachment to the body he was born in
You're a very strange guy
>Huge emotional climaxes should be based on emotions and attachments that have never been established
I don't know why you feel such a deeply personal need to defend every misstep this comic makes.
>that have never been established
It's his own personal body anon. The one he was born in. Are you actually autistic, is that it? Do you not understand emotions that normal people do? Does everything need to be spelled out?
>He didn't need to establish stakes, the attachment should be assumed!
Thanks for agreeing that he failed to establish stakes.
No, the attachment should not be assumed. That is not how writing works. I'm not even going to get into Rey being a body snatcher because it's not relevant to the point.
>The attachment should not be assumed
Why is death a bad thing then?
Should we only worry about character's lives who have established their will to live beforehand?
Your position is just so silly.
>Why is death a bad thing?
Rey's not dead. Your entire premise is idiotic.
>Should we only care about characters that establish a will to live?
You already do this automatically. No one gives a frick about background characters that appear in one panel for the purpose of being killed, any and all emotional connections between characters and reader are written and purposeful.
Again, this shit is writing 101
>We should assume it's important!
That's not how writing works. You can't expect a payoff without a setup.
>You can't expect a payoff without a setup.
The setup is that we care about Rey and can empathize with him, genius.
>That's the implication of the comment text. Way to read between the lines.
Backfiring doesn't mean that the effect is the opposite of what was intended. If Loup planned for this to drive a wedge between them he is completely moronic.
It backfired in the sense that it ended up hurting Loup more than it hurt Rey.
>Did literally any of this matter?
- Rey's body is gone.
- Loup is growing more unhinged.
- Annie and Rey form a pact for the afterlife.
At this point I'm fairly certain you're just pretending to be moronic as a joke, so that'll be my last response to you.
>The setup is we like Rey!
That's not what setup is.
>Rey's body is gone!
Changes nothing
>Loup is crazy!
He's been insane from the word go
>Rey and Annie maintain their status quo!
So nothing.
>No, the attachment should not be assumed
It's not like he pulled out some random object we'd never seen before and told us Rey cared about it though. We know that Rey hasn't been in or even seen his real body in a long ass time and there's literally no reason to assume he doesn't care about it.
Get your autism diagnosed, it might help you live your life in a healthier way
Because it's not a misstep, you're just being idiotic.
Looking back on this chapter, was literally anything accomplished or changed?
The trap failed, they talked about nothing for a while, and then Loup burned Rey's body, and then this pointless exchange.
Did literally any of this matter?
These threads are only good when there's potential for lewdness.
Toy Rey domming Annie when?
You don't see Reynardine slapping a disproportionately huge wolf wiener on Annie's face starting on Panel 4?
I do.
This is why writing for most American audiences has to include an "explain everything" scene these days. If it's not specifically spelt out for them, they think it's not real.
>imagine knowing everything but not how to mess with a teenage girl and her fox effectively
Sparkle dog just can’t win
Imagine being Annie's future husband and having to live with the knowledge that your life together will be utterly meaningless as she's devoted to spending literally eternity with the fricking dog.
Muh stakes gays btfo?
Yea screw tension or conflict boring bland resolution is the way to go!
This chapter has been:
>A plan to catch Loup we knew would fail from page 1 because he was literally standing next to Annie
>Loup destroying Rey's old body that we've seen maybe twice in flashbacks - zero impact because it's effectively never been his body for the entire comic and no one has ever expressed concern over it
>Rey and Annie resolving to remain friends and continue the status quo in the face of no new information or challenges
You could rip out the entire chapter and it wouldn't matter
I think it shows that the hostility between Loup and the main cast is escalating
Just end the comic if youre tired of it geez
>Mom, tell me how you and dad met!
>Well, your father was in prison for murdering someone to use their corpse as a puppet to seduce your grandmother...
>I need to be told what to feel
You feel horny.
Knot.
Why do all these animal gods want to frick Annie?
She is purpose-bred for sex.
That pussy is literally fire
Alright, since we're winding down here - I packed some of my stuff into a mega as requested. Enjoy, degenerates.

Unreleased pics, too! Pog!!
Thanks, based drawanon!
bless you anon.
Nice. Was it not you that made that glorious Lana titty drop page edit?
No, that was someone else. Fantastic piece of work, though.
These threads introduced some good drawgays
You are a king, a scholar, and my certainly mah homie.
Holy frick you were the same artist that did the "Congratulations on the sex!" images? You're a fricking legend m8.
pls spoonfeed me, what site is this for?
seconded
Your mom.
Mega dt nz
needs a key
Frick that's good.
MagicTM will solve the problem.
She can adopt if she wants a kid.
Fricking Reynardine in his plush body is probably ideal for birth control unless there's some magic pregnancy clause at work.
I wonder what Annie was going to say.
>your knots are pretty big. but I wish you I could experience actual cum from your real body so I can have your babies
Annie would literally die if she had a kid.
loup wouldnt let her die. then again, coyote did jack shit for surma
Loup/Coyote are extremely unreliable wish granters.
Coyote may have made it so Surma didn't die by simply giving Annie a soul made of pinecones.
That's pretty hot.
>NuAnnie shutting her eyes around Rey
The glib facsimile isn't stupid
Two knots one Annie
Panel 4 is Reynardine slapping Annie with an oversized wolf dick. Panel 5 is him doing it with two.
