Loup hasn't killed anyone yet. He acts hard but is actually an edgy kid without the stones or the will to do harm directly, he just lashes out and breaks objects like Renard's body. He won't harm Robot.
But that was an instinctive reaction to being attacked. If you fight back when attacked doesn't mean you would consciously go beat people up to have your way, does it.
