I think you are incorrect by most if not all definitions.
How? Sure, the world houses living things. But the world itself isn't alive.
This is not controversial... right?
It's obviously alive because it is an active ecosystem.
But that would be the biomass, bio sphere or whatever. "The world" is so much more. The planet is a.big percentage of rock, magma and the like, the universe is atoms, energy and stuff.
Chemical reactions and laws of phisics, it's not alive.
