You can just watch individual channels and not engage with the rest of the site anon.
They slammed the brakes on that within 24 hours.
Which then resulted in a lot of people getting banned because they actually tightened a lot of rules even harder afterwards in ways that most people weren't aware of, so that even using a black bar to censor something was now bannable.

I certainly hopes it gets a proper ending and conclusion. I've enjoyed Gunnerkrigg Court for the most part and I would be saddened to see it chug on with decreasing quality and eventually just peter out into nothingness.
We can only hope, I guess...

Probably, but not necesarely. Maybe he isn't that aware of their popularity and just likes them a lot too.
Sketches usually look better because you can't easily see errors. Any weird proportions or misshapen appendages or whatever are just part of the messiness of the sketch. Look at some of the finished wonky art in the comic, like for example the proportions in the last panel of the previous page. If you compare them to some of Tom's stream sketches, they'll look way better. They have much of the same wonk, the wonk just doesn't look out of place.
It is a general rule for that reason, yes.
So Tom's completely aware of how popular the two Annies were isn't he? He sure is drawing them a lot.
