Yeah, of course that's what happened? In a way, at least. I doubt it was done while she was alive, she was probably bound to her corpse in some kind of ritual after she died.
But,yeah,duh,we've seen her corpse and giant brain outside of her corpse and she's clearly still alive.

That or Kat's actions indirectly cause her to die. Since Zimmy/Omega are so tied to the ether, Kat's ascendian could frick her up.

Zimmy was scared specifically about Kat connecting to Omega.
The court uses Omega all the time and in the last chapter she seemed very energetic and active and not in the slightest scared around Kat's workshop, either, so why would Kat talking to her in the same way the court does make a difference?
I think it's almost more likely that Zimmy sees Omega as one of her very few friends and thinks it's likely that if Kat were to see her in the state she is in, she'd do the same she and Annie did to Jeanne and set her spirit free, which Zimmy doesn't want because she's abusive and selfish and thinks her 'friends' belong to her.
A sensible take that is very plausible and makes sense about the comic?

Could be! But probably not. Almost certainly not parents, based on their clothing, but I also don't think they are gonna have a child at all. I think Zimmy will turn out to be a failed attempt at a clone. It'd make sense that the court would try to clone her for more than one reason.
As insurance to not lose their precious future sight, as an attempt to understand the ability/create it artificially or perhaps even to give Omega a new body.
