What's nice aboit it is that the ai seems to have pretty thorough knowledge og gunnerkrigg court. I provided close to 0 prompts. It knew not only about a lot of secondary characters, like robot, shadow and rey without my prompt, but also had a very good understanding of the story thematically.

in the larger cosmology, Omega is a terminal for GK's version of the akashic records. Coyote is either a terminal as well that can simply "lie" or otherwise is an emanation of what humans consider unknown or outside the akashic record. I think the latter is most likely since it seems Coyote treats Omega as an existential threat. I'm still not sure how Ysengrin and Reynardine exist in relation to Coyote, whether they are aspects of Coyote or are existences unrelated ot Coyote outside their interactions.
as an aside I think Wandering Eye should also play into the Omega arc since she bears witness to history through her own lens but has no access to the akashic records so she just acts as an input to them. Maybe the psychopomps also work the same way Wandering Eye does but I'm not sure but unlike Wandering Eye they are known to be mortal and die themselves.

Zimmy is hooked up to the ether, Omega is not. Ether is the chaotic version of the akashic records that Omega is hooked up to.
The way Omega works is that she looks at the starting point of the universe and extrapolates everything based on that. Generally her accuracy is 100%, except Annie was supposed to die when she fell off the bridge so Omega's predictions aren't accurate when it comes to anything Annie's interacted with. She literally has no idea what's going on in the distortion.

This was said by the interpreter of the Arbiter, someone who's been shown to be unreliable in the past and who has stated that the issue in question does not relate to his department.
The Norns told Kat to do the exact thing that supposedly wasn't meant to happen. If you are saying that this is the only time in the entire history of the earth that gods acted against what would happen in a naturalistic reality, let me refer you to literally the entirety of Gunnerkrigg Court. If the norns rewriting reality screwed up Omega's ability, why didn't literally every other time that a god or even just a minor mythological being affected reality in a way that would samely screw with Omega? How would Omega, for instance, conclude that Jones should exist somewhere in the crust of the earth when it was formed? Did she physically arrive there or did she materialize acausally?
The theory that Omega isn't able to understand or predict anything around Annie because she was 'supposed to' die but didn't is quite frankly silly. Almost everything in the comic contradicts it. In fact, I'm not so certain that Omega's ability works so much as a calculator that works out a perfect simulation of events as it does as any other divination, just better than any other known ones. The fact that it's been explained (rather, hinted at) by some characters in the comic that Omega's power works like a perfect simulation is not necessarily a red herring, but rather an incomplete description. Similarly to how some creationists might tell you that evolution is real, but god created the first seed of life, it's possible that Omega's simulation is real, but based on some kind of seed derived through more traditional divination. My theory in this case would be that there is some sort of occlusion about Annie preventing Omaga from divining this seed.

Even if you're saying that normal etheric manifestation and Norn time travel work fundamentally in a different way, the point is that Omega's proposed simulation theory is at best incomplete.
Omega's model would necessarily contain a perfect simulation of the ether, but the court is of the staunch opinion that the ether can not be understood scientifically. That's a pretty clear contradiction.

I dunno, the Norns seem like a bigger deal than the average god, and letting Kat very directly change the past is different from the ether making something retroactively true. Its stressed that the Norns don't do this often, if ever, and Annie is in a position to make some very noticeable changes to the Court and its inhabitants compared to some random viking hundreds of years ago.

The key is that it wasn't Annie who broke Omega's predictions, it was *Kat*. She's the important one. Kat and Omega are due for some sort of interaction that will be Bad or more likely, anticlimactic.
