honestly it's been my only theory basically since page one of the flashback. similar eye issues and naming scheme after all. omega and zimmy starting with z aka last letters in their respective alphabets. while also being completely unfazed by zimmy world if not actively powered in it.
admittedly loose threads to make theory with but I mean f it. that and zimmy has to come from somewhere.
Omega and Zeta are both greek letters.
Unless Zimmy is like 100-200 years old or Omega birthed Zimmy when she was already a skeleton filled with camshafts, this is unlikely. Zimmy might be a descendant, but probably not. My guess is clone.
So, Omega r34 when?

What if this chapter is a result of Tom having seen criticism of his more recent art and he's using this as practice to get back on his A-game and the comic starts looking consistently good again

For real, though, Tom is trying his best and IS actively trying to improve his art, you guys are all just being huge homosexuals about everything he does.
I mean I think the threads are overly harsh on him 99% of the time but his recent art has been fairly sloppy.

Yeah nah this is the best the comic's art has been since like the introduction of Loup. There have been a few good moments here and there but it's been super inconsistent for the last several years and feels weirdly like it's lost a lot of its old gothic aesthetic.
Sure, but the old aesthetic was simpler, likely easier for Tom to do.
You can dislike the direction the art went and still appreciate the work the artist is putting in to it.
The comic's stylistic complexity peaked around the middle, the current style has been much more simple. I personally like it fine but that doesn't mean I haven't noticed characters being drawn a lot more sloppily.
You know you can criticize something and still appreciate it, I like the comic but that doesn't mean that Tom's more recent art hasn't been less focused.
