I honestly don't know why Ragnarok is so liked.

Thor lost his father, his friends, and his fricking world. He was then turned into a slave forced to fight for his survival, but nothing phase him. He is just cracking jokes all the time. He comes off like a sociopath.
Then there's the powerscaling. I know, i know. But it bothers me that the movie tries to hype him up as this great warrior and godly being but after every "power up" moment right after he goes back to fighting like a normal guy in boring slow-ass fights. It's like he hits a group with the harmer in slow-motion and that's great and you think you'll see more of that with him unleashing his powers, but right after he is slow and getting his ass kicked.

The MCU also seems to refuse to acknowledge how insanely powerful Pym Particles are. Heck, that "broken" shrink way that turns people into a pulsing blob is an insanely powerful weapon in its own right.

Black Widow is apparently able to fight on the battle field against superpowered beings with just a handgun whilst the regular army are useless.

MCU's management of power levels with weapons is dogshit.

Part of the reason why I hate the MCU is that they laugh at the characters and worlds of the comics rather than explore them, like they're embarassed by their more fantastical characters and are afraid to take them serious in any way. Nice to see it's finally biting them on the ass. This new movie could have worked if Thor was played as a more serious character after what he went through in the previous couple of movies, and the comedy could have come from Jane being a fish out of water, the inverse of Thor in the first movie, and having funny interactions to the otherworldly moments and bizarre characters that Thor interacts with daily. But instead she does nothing. And Thor is just there to be a quip machine rather than a character.

Every actor worth a shit doesn't need one anymore. Hiddleston surely doesn't need one. Hemsworth needed it for regular plain American or British accents, not for something exotic. For a Spanish woman that's fine but for a native English speaker? In MIB he plays a Brit. Fricking embarrassing. This guy is better off just showing his roided muscles. His brother, Liam or whatever, can use diverse accents, because he is smarter

They started off having the asguardians speaking with RP, which isn't a 'normal' british accent and isn't easy to pull off. Plenty of mainstream actors fumble it when doing stuff like Shakespeare adaptations. It's also Hiddleston's native accent so no shit he didn't need help with it.

All that said Hemsworth is clearly a limited actor, he should really stick to comedies imo.

You know the thing about him that pisses me off the most? A lack of creativity. If he’s not going to bother keeping the characters in line with the comics, then at least come up with something new and interesting. Take Bloodsport for example. In the comics, that dude’s thing is literally summoning superweapons. In the movie, he’s given a copypasta of Peacemaker’s origin and a gunsuit gimmick. Why? For a cheap one-off joke that goes nowhere. If you’re going to make a change like that, why not make it something interesting and impactful? Like this, for instance:

                >Merc encounters some alien artifact that cyborgs him into a connection to a seemingly infinite warehouse of alien weaponry.
                >Implant performs threat assessment and summons a weapon powerful enough to neutralize the threat, downloads the operation manual into his skull
                >Faced with Starro, the only weapon it will summon is one so powerful it would kill not only Bloodsport, but basically the entire city

Never. Disney is still sadly beloved by too many people. Why do you think Disney movies have won in the Best Animated Picture category for 10 years straight? Japanese movies and other international ones get snubbed all the time.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in Marvel Studios when shit like this and The Eternals reviews come out. Especially when Thor underperforms at the box office. Shit would have to get cataclysmic before Chapek gets rid of Feige Victoria Alonso though. Like if X-Men and FF bomb as well.

This is the price for a family of 4 on holiday for Disney tickets. On top of this, £7 a day per person for Genie+ (pretty much a must). $25 a day parking.

Also, you must book each day at the parks at least 3 weeks in advance or they'll sell out. If you want to ride GotG, you must be at Epcot for opening to get a boarding pass otherwise it'll run out and you won't be able to ride it at all that day.

"He's adopted" line was where the fin was passed. Fit in with the character none. Thor and Loki's relationship was a classic sibling rivalry. You shit talk one another but never would disrespect each other to outside company like that. Showed how dysfunctional Joss' childhood was.

At least he still cared about his family at that point. I bet in this one there's no reference to Thor's dead family or worse, he jokes about it.
