Not high. Medicated. It's the only way they keep him functional for shoots.

I guess he failed to "smash the hetero-patriarchy"! I've hated this fricker since he did those videos forcing his JL co-stars to say it with him, with Gal Gadot looking confused and looking at Ezra like he's batshit crazy. I hope this fricker never gets work again.

Just looks like CGI on top of CGI, just over it at this point. Never cared about cameos either. Not sure that leaves anything for me on this.

Yet, it won't be the worst box office flop this year. Indy seems to be in the lead for that.

Flash's budget seems to be higher than Indy's so it'll probably still be Flash that's a bigger flop. I guess they'll just pretend all those years of the film being stuck in development hell doesn't count.

Who looked at Ezra Miller one day and said
    >You know what role this guy is perfect for?
    >A frickin' superhero.
If you wanted to cast him as a gay prostitute or a gay prostitute with a drug problem or a superhero whose power is to have sex with men for money, then I would find that believable.
But this is like having Terry Crewes play Rapunzel or something, I don't know what the logic was behind this choice and thinking people would respond positively to it. You could have a really solid script and great special effects, but nobody wants to see Ezra Miller lead a movie for 2 hours. And then they put him in it TWICE.

Ezra isn’t actually gay/trans or anything he just says that so he doesn’t have to face the consequences of his actions, he actually has harems of cult follower women and a gf he was fricking since she was 12 and he was like 20.

I can believe he is a cult leader, a gay hooker, a mental patient, a lizard person, anything but a superhero or a well adjusted member of society

He didn't work for me in that movie either, but at least he was balanced out by some other actors and wasn't expected to carry the whole film himself. He just doesn't have leading man charisma.

I always thought Snyder's Justice League had terrible casting, it was one of my main issues with the DCEU and why Marvel was superior, aside from Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck which were good casting stuck with a director who did not give a shit about anything and just wanted to make his own fan fiction

          >Ben Affleck which were good casting stuck
Ben Affleck was very bad casting in the sense that they picked an actor that really really didn’t want to do the job and bailed the first chance he could.

He loves the role and wanted to do a good movie, but he understood that the WB execs were never going to let him do it the way it should be done.

I know Cinemaphile worships Snyder, but Marvel is fun whereas DC is decidedly not fun. I think this is why Marvel took off. Sort of like how fun, quippy Roger Moore Bond is more fun than sour puss Daniel Craig moping around for 2 1/2 hours

Who knew moviegoers and kids like to have fun at the movies, wow.

Momoa was a perfect choice (even though the Aquaman movies was worthless garbage). The Cyborg guy did well with what he was given.

Whatever shit James Gunn pulls can't possibly be worse than the last 10 years of garbage from DC. The sad thing is that the first standalone movies for WW and Aquaman were okay, even though they're not popular heroes, and now they have to do them all over again.

I don't think this is quite true. Dark Phoenix made 250mil on a 200mil budget but only made 65 domestic. When you break it down that will have probably lost more

It’s not even close to true. When the VOD/Blu-Ray/merch sales get factored in it won’t even be in the top 10 of flops.

the publicity was complete shit. I really thought it was a movie about a man who liked to show his private bits in public.
What a dissapointment, the lead was some malnutrive speed freak with the brain of a hummingbird trying to groom children and getting in fights in bars in Hawaii and stealing liquour from his neighbors house. - and that story would have been more entertaining then this CGI capeshit.
