Kiff did? I watched Kiff only recently so I had no idea it started like that. How's it's release schedule been so far then? Weekly episode after those double episodes with occasional breaks? Feels like Kiff has been out for a while now but it's only started in March and is on it's seventeenth episode already? That's pretty fast. Not Moon Girl fast, but other shows they dragged out the episode releases for a long time. Feels like Disney is still trying to figure out a good schedule to go with. I'm fully expecting the list to be completed by the end of S1. I could easily see the second season discarding that format and exploring new ground, probably delving deeper into the mystery of the professor, the chaos bots and the bad future that will most likely be invoked because honestly, i don't think we're getting that here in the first season, at least not anymore than a little tease or breadcrumb near the end of S1.

That honestly sounds like a joke they could do. Yeah, by the looks of it it's starting to feel like anyone could be the creator of the Chaos Bots to the point that it may as well be all of them. Also, turns out this dude was right. Aliens do exist and they're groovy as heck. Really didn't expect that. I had begun to think aliens may be too out there for this series but apparently not and some of them are already captured which means alien tech is on the table.
It was a short scene, but watching Lazlo fly through the air like a ragdoll and smashing into shit had me cracking up. Not even comedy gold, just his meatball body sailing across was inexplicably funny.
It was perfectly awkward. He didn't roll or try to move into the shot. He didn't even emote while he was crashing through. He just crashed right in and tumbled until he made it through. Unexpectedly goofy.
Chances are Hailey is just going to feel super guilty for "causing" Kristine to brake up with Scott, seeing him being all bummed out and everything she is going to help them reconcile like the cuck queen she is instead of taking her chance to kiss Scott. This episode felt like there was too much plot, Like We almost lost Beta, we discover that Hailey might be evil but no she's not making the whole thing a little bit pointless, Scott and Kristine relationship ends, and we get a new phone, and it disappears in one episode.

Maybe they're sent from different points in the future which is why they have different capabilities and different agendas. Maybe more than one person is making them and these people have differing views on how to accomplish their goals?

Good question. We got this segment here where Kristine admits she already knows Scott and Hailey are close and that she was jealous of them. That jealously being twisted wouldn't be surprising. But seeing her in an antagonistic role, well that wouldn't have been something I'd have expected. I'm not sure how they'd even use her that way. Would she just actively try to get in the way of things Hailey is doing? Would she even be any good at that? She doesn't seem like the planning type.

That's a shame. I think I've only seen the first 1.5 seasons but not anything beyond that. Shame about the downgrade in quality when it startd so well.
Only an episode or two of each. Literally the only things I've seen significant portions of are Resistance, The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, and The Bad Batch and the only movie I've seen is The Force Awakens. I wasn't kidding about being casual.

I like it more than I liked Amphibia season 1 (minus the Sasha stuff). However, I also think Molly McGee had a much stronger start and look where it ended up....
Owl House season 1 was mostly trash with bits and pieces of promise scattered here and there plus it had better action sequences than HOI (though I'm admittedly kinda shocked how freely they let HOI portray guns, even if they're just laser cannons you'd think Woke Disney would frown upon any sort of gun culture stuff... guess Hailey built plenty of military factories kek) I think overall the core character chemistry is as good if not better in HOI.. King was egregiously annoying with the manlet tryharding him while Beta has been a breakout entertaining character.
It does suffer some issues. It's some what inconsistent even down to the basics. There has already been a list item number that was used for two different things. The Chaos Bots tend to vary from "steal journal" to "just straight up murk Hailey and Scott" and after a whole two-parter was spent capturing one alive because they disintegrate apparently if you kill them they're still able to salvage parts (including a lore important one that they for some reason didnt find previously) from one the next episode that Beta blasted with his Chaosnoggerwhipper 9000.
It also has a sort of charm to the characters and their chemistry that shows like H&G and MGDD kind of fell flat in my opinion. It helps they aren't designed like monstrosities either. So I'd say HOI is really a show for those that want a return to 2000's Disney sort of stuff. The plot isn't too thick and the writers tend to be super flexible with the characters, but there is a lot of soapy stuff going on that makes it worth a weekly watch.

This one does sort of bother me a bit. Unless we're supposed to assume the blaster that Beta pulled out of nowhere can take them apart without them proofing away but it still looks like something is up there.
Kind of bland, the show feels like it's an executives wet dream, in a era where there's a dozen sol comedies it just not as fun as the others, there's decent writing but I feel that iit didn't need a serialized story,(which annoys me because they have to both down pay it and stretch it out.) Everything about it feels like it's been wash of anything unique.
Biggest draw is Scott and Hailey's friendship and the interesting idea that you can see why Hailey would like him but also understand why Hailey doesn't want to mess it up, even if it does cost humanity the golden future.
Credit where its due though the pufflle episode did pull on my heart strings.
Better than the vast majority of them, unironically, since most of Disney Channel's programming is either live action shit, or capeshit shows for toddlers oh wait that's all of them ;^). Of the cartoons Cinemaphile actually gave the time of day? Its about on par with SvTFOE in its first two seasons, being more about comedy and characters than the lore but generally being a fun ride.

That honestly sounds like a joke they could do. Yeah, by the looks of it it's starting to feel like anyone could be the creator of the Chaos Bots to the point that it may as well be all of them. It was a short scene, but watching Lazlo fly through the air like a ragdoll and smashing into shit had me cracking up. Not even comedy gold, just his meatball body sailing across was inexplicably funny.
It was perfectly awkward. He didn't roll or try to move into the shot. He didn't even emote while he was crashing through. He just crashed right in and tumbled until he made it through. Unexpectedly goofy.

So they are continuing from here then. Makes sense. Kristine and Scott being together were a pretty sizeable element of the cast so seeing them split like this would change episodes going forward. Though now I can't help but wonder if Kristine is going to be showing up anymore. Not sure she has much reason to now that Scott and her aren't a thing.
I'm curious how this will affect her relationship with Hailey more than anything else. I wonder if she's secretly jealous of Hailey for being so close with Scott, possibly resenting he for being a catalyst in their breakup. Who knows though, maybe Kristine is mature enough to maintain a relationship with the friend of an ex but based on how she was acting in the episode, probably not.
Good question. We got this segment here where Kristine admits she already knows Scott and Hailey are close and that she was jealous of them. That jealously being twisted wouldn't be surprising. But seeing her in an antagonistic role, well that wouldn't have been something I'd have expected. I'm not sure how they'd even use her that way. Would she just actively try to get in the way of things Hailey is doing? Would she even be any good at that? She doesn't seem like the planning type.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Professor being "good", but is so laser-focused in accomplishing her goals in trying to save the world, that she tramples on the lives and feelings of those around her, perhaps seeing them as small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things.
That already sort of felt like the case with how callous she was towards Beta being captured and possibly having his memory and personality deleted automatically. While that may just be a not valuing artificial intelligence it could also hint at her priorities for her mission.
To be fair she complained about delivery robots in Cos-played's ending and her enemies are the Chaos Bots, so she maybe just sees robots as disposable.

Only an episode or two of each. Literally the only things I've seen significant portions of are Resistance, The Mandalorian, Book of Boba Fett, and The Bad Batch and the only movie I've seen is The Force Awakens. I wasn't kidding about being casual.
You definitely need to check the original and prequel trilogy and then Clone Wars and Rebels.

I like it more than I liked Amphibia season 1 (minus the Sasha stuff). However, I also think Molly McGee had a much stronger start and look where it ended up....
Owl House season 1 was mostly trash with bits and pieces of promise scattered here and there plus it had better action sequences than HOI (though I'm admittedly kinda shocked how freely they let HOI portray guns, even if they're just laser cannons you'd think Woke Disney would frown upon any sort of gun culture stuff... guess Hailey built plenty of military factories kek) I think overall the core character chemistry is as good if not better in HOI.. King was egregiously annoying with the manlet tryharding him while Beta has been a breakout entertaining character.
It does suffer some issues. It's some what inconsistent even down to the basics. There has already been a list item number that was used for two different things. The Chaos Bots tend to vary from "steal journal" to "just straight up murk Hailey and Scott" and after a whole two-parter was spent capturing one alive because they disintegrate apparently if you kill them they're still able to salvage parts (including a lore important one that they for some reason didnt find previously) from one the next episode that Beta blasted with his Chaosnoggerwhipper 9000.
It also has a sort of charm to the characters and their chemistry that shows like H&G and MGDD kind of fell flat in my opinion. It helps they aren't designed like monstrosities either. So I'd say HOI is really a show for those that want a return to 2000's Disney sort of stuff. The plot isn't too thick and the writers tend to be super flexible with the characters, but there is a lot of soapy stuff going on that makes it worth a weekly watch.

This one does sort of bother me a bit. Unless we're supposed to assume the blaster that Beta pulled out of nowhere can take them apart without them proofing away but it still looks like something is up there.

Kind of bland, the show feels like it's an executives wet dream, in a era where there's a dozen sol comedies it just not as fun as the others, there's decent writing but I feel that iit didn't need a serialized story,(which annoys me because they have to both down pay it and stretch it out.) Everything about it feels like it's been wash of anything unique.
Biggest draw is Scott and Hailey's friendship and the interesting idea that you can see why Hailey would like him but also understand why Hailey doesn't want to mess it up, even if it does cost humanity the golden future.
Credit where its due though the pufflle episode did pull on my heart strings.
Better than the vast majority of them, unironically, since most of Disney Channel's programming is either live action shit, or capeshit shows for toddlers oh wait that's all of them ;^). Of the cartoons Cinemaphile actually gave the time of day? Its about on par with SvTFOE in its first two seasons, being more about comedy and characters than the lore but generally being a fun ride.
