I still enjoy it, but without King Shark, Clayface, and Psycho it's just not as fun.
In fact this season seems really sparse on any of the fun side characters in favor of the Bat Family which while fun just don't fill the gap.
I mean I get that Harley being a Hero now to synergize with comics it makes it harder for her to "hang out" with baddies other than Ivy but that also makes the story less fun because it was built on being a Villains show.
Like I said, I still like it but i'll be surprised if it gets a season 5, but if it does I can't imagine it going past that.
Also Tefe was really cute in the latest episode and I want to have consensual sex with Them
thus far, I'm liking Harley's chemistry with the batfamily, but without alfred OR bruce, it feels pointless.
Ivy has had some fun interactions with the LOD, but I have no idea why they're doing what they're doing with lex.
Talia is a great new addition.
Joker slowly losing his mind at the mundanity of being mayor and going back into full crazy villainy is fun...though wasn't he still committing crimes in his run for mayor? Why was that meant to be shocking, that he killed the groundskeeper?
And yeah, I miss the general focus on D tier villains. Snowflame is a fricking bizarre choice for a new character, but he works so well in this show.
I think joker could go back to being murderous while still trying to be a good dad. I find that concept interesting.

This is honestly my biggest issue. There was something charming to Harley's old crew, but the Bat-Family doesn't feel as authentic. Why does Harley want the Bat-Family's approval so badly? The old Harley wouldn't have given a shit.

This is another problem, because the comics aren't sure if she's a hero or not either. For every comic that presents her as a hero another shows her engaging in minor, but still supervillain activity. Harley exists in some weird grey area between the two and that's hard to write a compelling narrative around.
I also don't like how rapid-fire the jokes have become. The show's always been a little quick, but now it's just joke, joke, joke, joke that there's no breathing room and nothing lands as a result.

Dude, she's been a hero in her main comic ever since 2016. Harley mostly save the multiverse in her comedy comic. She don't engage in minor supervillain acts. Even the elseworld comics like injustice, DCeased and more make her a hero who save lives.
Her current ongoing had her get arrested due to her being involved in a gang war with Two-Face. She also killed the entire Justice League in a recent mini. I'd say she's less of a villain and more of a menace to society than an actual hero.

Eh the show does work better with C/D listers as her supporting cast as they have no expectations placed on them and they can do what they want, whereas batfamilygays are going nuclear every single week over the batfamily's usage (Dick in particular)
