Most of those murders and other heinous crimes are committed against other men. Yet for some strange reason we don't have shelters for batter men, do we? For some very odd reason we don't have a government funded office for men's health, do we? For some inexplicable reason we don't have male spaces where men can be safe from the rape accusations of women, do we? It's all so very strange.

There's a difference between showing emotions and showing weakness. Peterson is doing the latter, which is surprising considering the amount of hate he gets. I guess being called a nazi actually was a compliment to him.

I wish he'd articulate that he had a perpetually single and underemployed friend who suicided when he was younger in his interviews. It's right there in his book and explains his interest in unmotivated young men.

It would essentially force his opponent/interviewer to either go along with him or outright say they don't care about unwanted young men dying. He did a softball version of this with the Cathy Newman interview when the moronic roastie was jabbering about how there weren't enough female CEOs but he's become such a passive punching bag since there.

But for some reason I was in a really mopey and empathetic mood and I felt a very strong sense of empathy in that movie, a sort of message of "why stop and risk yourself to pull someone out of a flaming wreck? because it could happen to YOU someday and you'll wish that was the culture". I agree, I think he needs to take a break. He's one of the more well-spoken people we have today talking about these issues openly in long form and he appears to be a man with a rather large heart trying to perpetually move forward. That's why I think it's especially strange to use him as a punching bag out of all the garbage human beings in the world.

Incel to Jordan and the media/Olivia are two completely different things. The media thinks it's a bunch of meme posts taken literally and Elliot Rodger and Jordan is going by the definition which is what the word is a contraction of.

Y'know what? I kind of like Peterson. I'm not a superfan or anything, but videos of him pop up in my YouTube recs and every once in a while I'll watch one. He's A-OK in my book. Not super duper interesting, not terribly offensive. I don't see why people get so bent out of shape by him. So he doesn't want government to force him to call male crossdressers "women." Who cares? That's not so bad!

      Anonymous

Liking him doesn't mean you have to be a super fan, he's alright, not amazingly profound. Does recognize some things but then rests on talking points (related to gender relations) that were relevant 15 years ago.

As a side, I'm not sure how he lost a debate to a dribbling commie when I've seen him perform much better. I don't place a lot of stock in the outcome of debates, but any victory for breadtube is something I can do without.

Here's what I don't get, why would you say something like this about someone you have never even met, let alone had a conversation with before? Everything she knows about Jordan Peterson is through the lens of the limited number of interviews she has seen him in (if she's even seen any of his interviews) and by the opinions of Jordan Peterson by others around her. She really has no room to bag on the guy. I thought directors were suppose to be intelligent, pragmatic and throughout, not just machines of propaganda.

The left continues to either misrepresent JP or just pretend to, this headline makes it sound like he's crying because he got called a name when he's probably crying at the idea that young men are looking up to him and how sad it is that they need a fake internet dad because society won't give them anything better.

Meanwhile this fricking blockhead c**t lives in a world where everything is handed to her on a platter constantly and she gets to mock sad men for not getting laid even as she's been outed for being a disgusting prostitute who ruined her marriage with being a fricking prostitute but she comes out of it being on the moral highground and somehow women are oppressed because sometimes men somewhere criticize them.

posting pics of the current meme troony does not change the fact that Jordan B. Peterson claimed people would be arrested for using the wrong pronouns, and even took it a step further and said you could get in trouble for ACCIDENTALLY using the wrong pronouns

He was right. You can be arrested from using the wrong pronouns persistently as it could be interpreted as discrimination and harassment based on gender identity. There's steps before it would ever get to arrest or jail. But JBP is right, what happens when you don't pay a fine or go to sensitivity training or what have you? You eventually go to jail if you dig your heels in hard enough.

                Same poster adding on.

I will say cases like in that article are rare when it would come to a fine. Most cases would sooner end in sensitivity training, or being handled before ever seeing a court. The point is though the human rights court is there, and will enforce pronouns if necessary.

Idk if he did that too but he grew notoriety by going to beauty salons owned by immigrant women and asking for them to wax his hairy balls. He would then take them through human rights court when they rightfully refused

here's my crash course guide to Jordan Peterson. dude has said some interesting and thought provoking things about social psychology and self-improvement. feel free to consume any of that. but any video where this homie is talking about politics, feminism, or other social issues – you do not watch that shit. Peterson is a frickin' teacher and you do not show up to his polysci class. you wait for philosophy and psychology, and you never tell anyone where you learned the useful shit you picked up from it. that's it.

My most respectable cry was at the end of La Vita e Bella. But I've also cried at things like the end of captain Phillips and saving private Ryan. Now that I think about it they are movies with a lot of pent up emotion which have a cathartic ending. Recommend me more if you have any.

He does weep, but his response is pretty good. He kind of hints that incel is just a misused term like Nazi, where everyone who doesn’t agree to the current year is somehow one.

There's the interview it's referencing. He gets emotional talking about the injustice of libtards shitting on the disadvantaged but he laughs about Olivia Wilde's movie and talks about how he and his family treated it like a joke.

A better second half of that sentence would be about how he simultaneously shits on more widely marginalized people with disregard

Stop advocating that prepubescent children take hormone therapy and mentally ill minors are able to sign off on having their bodies mutilated and we won't have a problem. Also, the exploding milk porn troony teacher proves everything he said about the absurdities afforded by legislating C-16.

I teared up at a shitty movie last week. It may have been Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.

There are some seriously powerful people using a lot of resources and time to destroy Jordan Peterson. It means he's on to something tangible. But the Streisand effect is wrecking them because anyone that actually listens to Peterson for longer than an hour or two will realise that no, actually, he is probably a lot more right about the state of the world than they want to admit..
Lying hit pieces from the New York times, post, BBC, wherever else are so common it's scary but any time he's been involved in debates with these same people he's annihilated them all. It must be scary for them to be fair, their weird agenda being exposed from the roots

I mean this guy was getting emotional and tearing up years ago when mentioning the fact that no one cares about young men and their problems. I don't like Peterson and he strikes me as a hypocritical populist but the fact that so many "open-minded progressives" go completely anal and ballistic the moment he suggests that you should care about issues of white males is frightening and hilarious at the same time

They still don't care. They simply keep double downing on demonizing young males and their sympathisers like Peterson, successfully creating a narrative how being pushed away from basic human interactions and needs must somehow be entirely your fault.

Don't care. Debates are such a cope it's actually disgusting when you just know that 9 out of 10 morons, with the same voting rights as those supposed intellectuals who represent them, are voting for some basic af, tribal reasons that are surface level deep ie: orange man bad/minorites good and own a lib/minorites bad.
