The problem with this show specifically is that, even though there’s some decent jokes, the characters and entire style of the show just sucks. The main characters are built on a dumb game and live in a boring city, the art just reminds me of mad tv. Chowder had characters living in a city but the designs were so much more consistent and had a clear food theme going. None of the music or sound effects stick our either, unlike stuff like ed edd and eddy of SpongeBob. Literally nothing sticks with you

Despite being Nick’s first web cartoon, it’s infinitely better than Monkey Wrench and Helluva Boss

It’s the jokes that are better. The designs are meh but then again most Nick cartoons look bad yet have goof storytelling

At this point nickelodeon exists only to pipeline child actors to be fricked by executives, all the animation is produced to make money to fund them fricking the live-action kid actors from all their non-animation content, like "The Real Loud House"

damn, it sure is funny to say a bunch of stuff instead of showing it. it's a good thing children don't go outside anymore b/c it makes it way easier to do a relatable slice of life show where everyone use iPad

HAHA LOOK GUYS IT'S JUST LIKE SPONGEBOB, except it's only gonna last 1 fricking season because nobody's watching this shit

Nickelodeon gave up when they fired Savino from the Loud House and that show got reamed by MeToo because that fricked its momentum hard. Literally overnight, it went from "Nickelodeon/cartoon renaissance" to furtively looking to Spongebob and Stephen Hillenburg's temporary return while trying to ignore the albino boy's show as best they can while still airing it because they didn't have shit besides it.
When Hillenburg croaked, that was pretty much it for the network. It'll exist, but it's a total zombie. This Rock Paper Scissors shit is just them trying to appeal to Alphababbies with an internet show since that's what all the kids are into these days and kids love esoteric and surreal shit. But it's just like that time PSP tried spraying graffiti to promote the PSP and everyone kicked their skull in for it.
I don't know why they don't just greenlight that goth girl for a spinoff and ride the Wednesday train already since that and FNAF are what kids are unironically into content wise. Not this fakeass "lolsorandom we're physicalized hand games" shit.

They are also trying to appeal to objectshow chads in Gen Z and Gen Alpha considering the rise of BFDI and II in the 2020s.

Nickelodeon is actually still trying to fight with Disney. Disney shows are made competently. They're just so pozzed and safe because it's Disney, so it's like "Netflix but less hype and on cable TV" and Netflix is already shit

Cartoon Network is the one that lost control of its mind and is stuck in a permanent psychotic hallucination it will never recover from.

The only way this concept can be salvaged is making Lizard and Spock appear at some point.

is this another one of those mad libs cartoons that just throws as much random shit at a wall as possible without any real theme or cohesiveness to it

Uhhh, yeah, but not really in the way you're thinking. Redditbob and Pedo House have kept the other channels so far behind in the race you actually think they're ahead.

Only thing Nick has is Sponge, like Cartoon Network and TTGo. No matter how hard they try new crap, nobody watches.

I haven't watched a second of Nickelodeon in 30 years. But there's zero chance they're worse than Cartoon Network.
