>Have Carter and Rambeau react indifferently to the death of Balder the Brave, who is supposed to be a huge butthole no one likes
>Swap Balder for Reed Richards and Black Bolt in reshoots and present them as noble and respectable heroes
>Don't reshoot the reactions as well, making Carter and Rambeau look like callous b***hes
How did they drop the ball this bad?
>and present them as noble and respectable heroes
The only one who wasn't a facetious c**t that thought too much of themselves was Xavier. He's the only one who actually listened and took heed of what Strange had to say.
Reed was pretty alright, but he made the same stupid mistake of underestimating Wanda that his butthole friends did.
Black Bolt acted smug, but looked genuinely torn over having executed 838 Strange.
Balder was supposed to be in this?
Yeah, that was the plan until COVID happened
Reed is not a nice person if you actually know anything about F4.
That's what people who get their info second-hand think
Rhodey is trans now?
yes her pronouns are war machine/rocks
Rhodey got rode one too many times #BuckBreaking
>Have Hayley Atwell playing six-foot mommy goddess
>Have Patrick Stewart playing Professor X for what will be one of if not the last time
>Have a chance to introduce Fantastic Four to normie audiences that only know them from bad movies
>lol frick all that
>Don't do anything with them, just kill them in moronic ways
The people behind this scene were clearly moronic Anon.
Those characters only appeared because people wouldn't shut the frick up about them.
>MUH CAPTAIN MOMMY
>MUH JIM AS MR FANTASTIC
>WHERE'S MUH XAVIER
Raimi is just spiteful towards that kind of garbage and rightfully took them to task.
I can only bow before his obvious genius. Truly having these characters die pointlessly in a filler scene is much better than having them do anything interesting.
>He makes a pointless filler scene where they all die
>everyone shits on it and him as a result
Wowee he sure showed them
>Balder the Brave
Maibe they would've been a little more concerned if it was Brave The Stunning the one getting killed.
I don’t understand how anyone can miss the obvious point of the Illuminati segment which is that they’re essentially an Avengers formed of all the wrong personality types together. They’re a bunch of pragmatic eggheads and demigods who were able to get the clean ending the regular Avengers couldn’t, but it came at one cold pragmatic cost after another to where they’ve built a flavorless utopia and face practically no opposition. This Reed and Black Bolt aren’t meant to be representative of what they’ll be like in the main MCU, it’s meant to give audiences a contrast for the versions they’ll know later and a hint at what they’re capable of when pushed far enough. It’s actually really decent plot set up honestly.
Pretty sure it was just to show how the Avengers lineup would have fared against Wanda
You can't do a contrast when the thing you're contrasting against doesn't exist.
Jim from The Office is fricking dead.
It’s a realistic female reaction and I respect the team for sneaking it in.
George Lucas said I'm the 1990s how with CG technology you could in the future take an actors take and move it around in scenes.
I immediately realized the problem with this is that acting is actually re-acting, and moving one actors performance and making it a reaction to a different performance would lead to disjointed shit and actors work being ruined.
Lo and behold now we have the technology to completely shuffle shit and it leads to wonky shit that feels wrong and soulless.
