His loss, his failure, his death, and further corruption are just replaced by this stranger who might as well be someone else

I HATE those half assed time travel or reality warping reboots where the previous timeline is still somehow canon, New52, Homestuck, Sonic comics, Mortal Kombat etc The story ends up a confusing and generic mess where nothing matters.
I still don't get why Marvel decided to make him evil of all X-men, the entire point of the character is that he's a genius and wonderful, likeable person even though he looks like a scary animal.
Became the Civil-War era Tony Stark of his team, aka he became a hypocritical overly controlling douchebag crossing many moral lines "for everyone's own good" so that you forget how horrible the other X-men are acting in favor of being pissed at Beast being the new mutant Hitler after the previous mutant hitlers got free passes from the others.
Like, not for nothing it's great at making him a hateable antagonist with a strong motive and understandable goals, but it feels really creepy to basically see the blue furry that would go "oh my stars and garters" being treated as the worst person alive compared to the literal nazis and genocidal monsters the other X-men welcomed with open arms.

There is a rumor that someone from Christos Gage's Giant Size X-Men oneshot is going to end up staying in the future. So there is a chance we could end up with 60s Beast. Again
I'd be mildly surprised if 90s Beast lost, just cause that's the one every adaptation featuring Beast has been based on.
