How popular is Groo? Do Latin Americans really worship it? I have several Groo comics in really good condition. However, I don't think they have any major appeal in the US sadly.
>Groo was one of the first widely successful creator-owned comics, one of the few successful humorous comic books in the United States (outside Archie Comics) during its time, and one of the longest-running collaborations in comic book history.

>Do Latin Americans really worship it?
nobody knows it exists, we have our own mascot caricatures
t. latam
>nobody knows it exists
you have erred
I think I have almost all the Groo comics somewhere. I am no mendicant!
I like the series, but they really need to get back to the done-in-one format. Groo was really not meant for miniseries.
YES. Stan fricking Sakai got his start there as a letterer.
I like Usagi but I don't like Groo. Something must be wrong with me.
No problem.
you're just being sensible
>he does it for free
Truly a trailblazer
Yeah, I read it. It’s amusing but one of those things you never really think about after putting it down
ANON IS NOT A MENDICANT! AND ONCE ANON FINDS OUT WHAT THAT IS, OP WILL GET IT!
It's a pity the newer storylines are not set after Groo's character development and ability to read, but I still like them
Some short stories that show up here and there in other books but really just feels like a newpaper strip that over stays it welcome.
I have read a bunch but not all of it. Really should reread it at some point. Also HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A MENDICANT!
Nobody calls anon a mendicant! Or anything else that he does not know the meaning of!
Also, what pirates?
having read Groo, I'd rather be a mendicant! (whatever it is)
