It's pretty much reddit meets netflix meets globohomosexual feminism. Basically it's feminism the movie made to hypnotise the viewer into thinking "white men bad" and "POC women good". There isn't really much more to this dreary film than that.

Heaven scene was the only kino scene also opening b/w scene. Tried to be like Terrance, which is good.
It was very clearly shown to be Kevin's idea of heaven and where his brothers had gone. Don't blame the film for not being able to follow how the scene played out.

This is one of the saddest films I've ever seen
I really liked it. The real life story is actually even more tragic, they cut an entire brother who killed himself because it would make the movie too long.
A bunch of people I know IRL didn't watch it or didn't like it though because 'wrestling sucks' when the movies not even about the wrestling which was quite frustrating.
I know nothing about wrestling and I give zero fricks about it and I absolutely loved this movie

Sorry but it was kind of mediocre. The ideal wrestling movie showing the damage it does to one's body and psyche already came out, Aronofsky's The Wrestler with Mickey Rourke. This one has some severely understated performances and a lot of shlocky tender moments. The Ric Flair sucked bad, they did a decent job making the guy look like him but frick, let the actor snort a line if you want him to act like The Man
Shit take. It's a vehicle for sibling death, multiple at that, which is a story told as rare as WW1 kinos.

I saw it yesterday too. It was good, too bad it doesn't meet any criteria for Oscar nominations. Zac Efron was very good in it.
Good movie. Train, marry and reproduce anons. Btw the Heaven scene is imagined by Zac after his brother dies to at least have some hope left.
