I've barely been following this but even I know that's NOT what happened at ALL. Vivzie said "Ship and let ship, any ships at all, including this one!!! Everybody just have fun!!" Then a bunch of crack shippers decided that approving of shipping, fan art, fanfic, etc wasn't enough, if the creator didn't immediately change the actual show and story into a romance novel with THEIR SPECIFIC preferred ship to cater to their demands, she was a stupid b***h and a bad writer for not obeying their every random whim and deserved to be attacked.
At this point, even if I had planned a romance plot with that couple, I would honestly have changed it to skip it because the fans were so horrible I wouldn't even be able to write it anymore. It would just make me angry because of the fans' behavior alone.

This episode was meant to be the finale to season 1. So for context, the events that had happened that same night were the episode at Ozzies where his affair had been outed and he'd been humiliated by Verosika and Puppet Man.
No one in Hell is a good person, none of them are. Sure Moxxie is a devoted Husband and Employee of his firm but he still enjoys killing people and gets off to watching his wife doing that all the time. He's just wimpy and submissive most of the time and can't properly stand up for himself without coming off as a dork
Everyone is on some level of bad person, some like Moxxie and Millie are simply cordial while others like Blitzo wear it on their sleeves with pride. The Hellborn are less likely to be terrible because in comparison to the Sinners who are all on some level mentally ill and evil the Hellborns are just some dudes that occasionally get up to bad stuff. HB is deserving of the criticism it gets but I think people keep forgetting that this interpretation of Hell is meant to be light hearted in comparison to something like Dantes Inferno or Your pretty face is going to Hell where everyday sucks.
