All of these examples are amazing visuals with garbage writing. Most artists cannot write. Giving them "creative freedom" as their first fricking big project out the gate is not going to magically create a good show.
Cause that shit isn't writer-driven. Shows like Steven Universe, Owl House, and Star Vs are made by artists first whose only writing experience is little stuff they did in comics or storyboards. They are not writers. They are artists who only know the very basics of writing a script.
