Was there ever some official post from Viv about why she did not bring the original voice actors along?
I know there was talk about guild membership but I'd like to see the official statement if there was one.
Because as a studio production they were obligated to hire union voice actors. As well they needed people who could sing, as well, and had the schedules to support a whole season of recording.
This sort of thing is pretty normal, usually professional actors don't take it so incredibly personally

If we can be charitable and not deranged for a sec. HH was one of THE biggest pilots in Youtube history for a while. It likely made them bigger and able to negotiate a better pay. I could absolutely see this as a pass the torch moment for them and to get fans to stop bugging them about why they're not in the show.
2nd, I could see this as them supporting Viv since it ultimately brings more attention to her show since it does them no good to be spiteful to a show that introduced them to millions

To be fair, the show itself is going pretty well, I just strongly dislike the new VAs. Especially Stephanie Beatriz. She's lovely and I enjoy her in literally everything else but she doesn't fit her character, imo
