I feel like it was supposed to be a joke on how sweaty WoW was but now it makes people nostalgic since it became so much worse

Been rewatching the series and just saw this one. It's pretty solid but as the other anon said, makes me wanna go back

I've always considered it one of their weaker episodes myself. It's simply held up by having a handful of jokes that perfectly encapsulate some of the worst aspects of Vanilla WoW.

One time a blood elf paladin killed my alt in stangalthorn vale and then I found him one day in the arathi highlands and camped him for an hour or so. That was 13 years ago and I still remember the satisfaction, even though I've been killed by and killed thousands of players before and since.

Some nightelf rogue in WSG fricked my flag cap up and I camped her until she server transferred, like six months. Even had head in the bank, which disappeared with the changes.

You can't escape into games and let your enemies have the real world.

They will fricking follow you all the way into your closet.

They'll never stop, they'll never slow down, and they'll never go backwards. They'll never have enough of tormenting you. They'll never give up and go do their own thing. They don't have their own thing. You ARE their "thing."

There is no escape, you can postpone for a while, but chances are when you meet them again, they'll be stronger and you'll be weaker.

Nothing in this world should be more precious to you than destroying your enemies, because anything that is more precious than that, your enemies will just take it from you.

They already know this, that's why they don't play video games or read comics or enjoy food or drugs or anything else, they just think about how to frick with and destroy their enemies.

Their way of life is pure and natural, yours is not. They are hardcore and committed, you are not. You may work hard, but they never rest. They are living weapons, thinking and calculating down ONE TRACK.

Never underestimate the power of a one-track mind. It can conquer ANYTHING. And all it takes is time.
