If killing Adam and the other angels is in any way acceptable, then execution logically must also be morally sound - therefore angels executing cannibals, rapists and murderers is morally fine.

The fact that Pentious went to Heaven despite being a general in the battle against angels and despite attempting to death beam Adam proves that angels were in the wrong and defending against them was a morally correct decision.

The angels killed countless thousands of men women and freaking children sinners, and only a single of of them ever did anything to get redeemed. Also the angels are all still in heaven, and we see that moving is an automatic thing so they holy purge was completely unambiguously sanctified by god.
