I never know why they didn't go with Spider-Boy whats wrong with "Young version of established hero" like tons of superheroes have it. Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Superboy. And they're all well established and have their own fanbase and comics and stuff

They didn't go with it because Bendis' concept was purely to make the character called Spider-Man in ultimate blaxican.
