I started this show recently, just made it to season 3 and it's pretty good so far
Season 3 it starts to change and becomes much more absurd and ridiculous. I like it but some don't. It stays at that level until like season 8 where it again becomes even more absurd

Honestly though this is maybe my favorite reason for ending Always Sunny, the actors just look way too old nowadays to play their respective characters, which were all originally written to be in their late twenties (except Frank obv.)

all the characters were pretty normal in season 1 with a notable anti-social stream. none of the characters have maintained the possibility of actually existing in the real world. Frank is mostly unchanged, but he always was meant to be the stand-out freak to begin with
I'm going to be honest bros... the entire show would have been better without Frank. he was a big name and got eyes on the show, but he's less funny than Dee.
the only reason frank exists is to allow them to have crazy plots where they can explain anything away with "frank paid for it"

Alright anons give it to me straight when does it ACTUALLY jump the shark? Cause I’m on season 7 and even though there were like 2 flukes, the rest were all still very funny, especially shit like Charlie rejecting Alexandria Daddario
i draw the line specifically at 7. 1-6 are great, 7 is where it starts going to shit. theres still good episodes but fewer and fewer with each season.
Just keep watching until you don't like it anymore. It'll probably be in double digit seasons.
12 is the final watchable season before they fully bend the knee
the later seasons are okay but there is some major cringe, the one where they turn into blacks is unwatchable, the women airplane drinking is cringe, the chardeemcdennis is gay af and a few others but theres still some decent stuff in every season i would say
