They kind of destroyed their own defense here, previously her being mute had an explanation behind Erica's fiance passing away, but now them going with "It was planned from the start" pretty much destroys it and makes people's concerns all the more real. Who approved this?
Their explanation is a bit strange. People assumed by default that the lack of lines had something to do with Kametz's death, but now it's implied that that is completely incorrect and the episodes turned out as they were ALWAYS intended.
I certainly appreciate it in my own selfish way, I'll admit.
I posted this comic not too long ago and I got so many comments telling me that I should be ashamed and my joke was in poor taste because of Erica's private situation, which I knew nothing about.
